I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers.

The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America.

Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc, so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor. I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them. I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building. Ask your buddy who invented the Internet to help you. (Al)

Hollywood Elitists Granted Waivers As Obama Mines for Gold Among the "Haves"!

In the midst of the most serious wealth gap between “Haves” and Have nots” in U.S. history, one would expect America’s self-proclaimed “Middle Class Warrior” to spend his time in venues like East Los Angeles, Watts , or perhaps Bell, where poverty and the “Have Not” status are proudly displayed as a badge of honor.

Unfortunately for the impoverished souls in those communities, President Obama chose to rub elbows with the “Have” abusers in Hollywood.

Actor Will Smith and basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson for dinner and Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas for post-meal canapes. President Barack Obama waded into the domain of the stars Monday as he hit the California fundraising circuit in one of his busiest donor outreach trips of the season.

About 40 contributors, including actress Hilary Duff, contributed $35,800 each for a cozy dinner and a chance to chat with the president. Obama, eager to reinvigorate his supporters, ticked off his administration's accomplishments.

"Sometimes I think people forget how much has gotten done," the president said as he urged his backers to rally once again, at the same time joking, as he often does, that he is older and grayer now. "This election won't be as sexy as the first one."

The dinner, followed by a larger affair at the home of Griffith and Banderas, were part of a three-day, fundraising-rich swing through Nevada, California and Colorado. California, however, is his biggest donor state and he raised about $1 million in the Los Angeles area alone during the past two fundraising quarters, according to an Associated Press review of contributions above $200.

The Las Vegas fundraiser attracted about 240 people who paid from $1,000 to $35,800 toward Obama's re-election campaign and to the Democratic National Committee. The bigger donors met the president personally.”

In a dinner dominated by Latino “haves” the president received wild cheers as he spoke about immigration reform, a promise from 2008 that he has not been able to keep.

For the record, during his pep talk to Latinos, the president did NOT boast about the record number of deportations processed by his administration.

Nor did he reach out to East Los Angeles, Bell or any of the other havens for the “Have Not” populace.

Thus the question, Where was the “Occupy Hollywood” crowd?

Obama to Re-inflate Housing Bubble; New Credit Downgrade Looms!

In a sign of increasing exasperation with Republicans who will not, “Pass this bill now!” President Obama has decided to go around the reticent party of NO! and fix the economy on his own.

As reported at reference 1, Obama will announce two initiatives that will hopefully help repair the entrenched mess created by the disastrous Stimulus-1, which, as it turns out, was all about funding doomed-to-go-bankrupt ventures for campaign donors.

Obama’s new initiatives will focus on the housing and student loan crises.

The housing mess will be addressed by downgrading the requirements for refinancing mortgages, with less emphasis of loan-to-value considerations and more focus on empathy, leveling the playing field, closing the wealth gap, minority rights and other social justice actions best handled by moon bats in big government.

Hmmm. Isn’t that sort of fuzzy thinking directly responsible for the fact that millions of Americans are currently facing foreclosure on their homes?

Even more disconcerting, in order to assure a seamless program for “Re- inflating the Housing Bubble,” the President has decided to call on experts at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for help.

A curious choice, given the fact that Fannie and Freddie are bankrupt entities that thrive on greed and corruption while operating under the guise of helping the poor and near-poor.

In truth, these liberal-infested rat holes have created more ‘poor and near poor’ than they have helped.

Again, Mr. President, America has “Been There, Done That” with Fannie and Freddie: Millions are still paying for the malfeasance resulting therefrom!

With respect to student loans, the president has yet to announce specific goals or plans. However, it is a lead-pipe cinch that Obama’s reach out will become a “hand out” that will encourage less accountability and individual responsibility on the part of the beneficiaries.

In other words, another progressive program made necessary by the lingering failures of George W. Bush!

The fact that the student loan crisis is a red hot issue with Occupy Wall Street retards has NOTHING to do with Obama’s move-- Right?

While Obama prepares to jolt the American economy back to life by killing it with love, the pristine credit rating that America has always enjoyed, until Obama invaded 1600 Pennsylvania, is about to be downgraded AGAIN!

The United States is in for another credit downgrade by year’s end if Congress fails to agree on a long-term plan to tame the nation’s $14.8 trillion debt, Merrill Lynch warned.

In a research note, the Bank of America unit predicts that either Moody’s or Fitch will move to downgrade the U.S. AAA rating. Standard & Poor’s cut the nation’s bond rating in August, causing the stock and bond markets to swoon, after months of bickering by Congress on how to best reduce spending and cut the deficit. The United States spends about 40 percent more annually than it collects in taxes.

“The credit rating agencies have strongly suggested that further rating cuts are likely if Congress does not come up with a credible long-run plan” to cut the deficit, Merrill’s North American economist, Ethan Harris, wrote in the Friday report. ”Hence, we expect at least one credit downgrade in late November or early December when the super committee crashes.”

Gloom and doom everywhere, right?

However, bear in mind that this warning was issued before the Obama plan was announced.

Perhaps Obama’s “Re-inflating the Housing Bubble” and student loan handouts will help America avert the second historic downgrade on Obama’s watch?

The Obama Family Tree: Cluttered With Crazy Aunts, Drunken Uncles, and Other Illegal Aliens!

Barack Obama’s idiotic decision to ignore the law and permit illegal aliens to avoid deportation has agitated a large number of people who would remind The One that his job is to enforce the law, rather than break it.

Some patriots are pressed to understand why the president is so anti-rule of law when it comes to illegal aliens.

Shaking down the Obama family tree may provide answers.

To begin with, Obama's Auntie Zeituni lived in America as an illegal alien for several years.

Then we have his Uncle Obama who made news by virtue of his DUI and arrest as an illegal alien.

As reported in the media:

According to a local newspaper, Mr. Obama was charged with driving under the influence and driving to endanger, as well as failing to use a turn signal. He was detained as an illegal immigrant because the US Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement has an outstanding warrant for him because he was previously ordered to be deported to Kenya.

The Times has established from his birth date that Mr. Obama is the Uncle Omar mentioned in President Obama's best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father. In the 1995 book, President Obama writes of "the uncle who had left for America 25 years ago and had never come back".

In 2008, The Times mounted a search for Uncle Omar. Instead of finding him, we discovered his sister, President Obama's Auntie Zeituni, who was living as an illegal immigrant on a Boston housing estate. Uncle Omar and Auntie Zeituni are the children of President Obama's grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama, by his third wife Sarah, the woman President Obama calls "Granny", because she raised his father, Barack Sr, who was Hussein Obama's son by Hussein's second wife, Akumu.”

It appears to be in the Obama family DNA to live in America illegally. A trait which also applies to our goofy community organizer president!

Looking for ‘Gentle People With Flowers in Their Hair?’ If so, Stay Away from Candlestick Park in San Francisco!

Over 44 years ago, a smash hit titled, ‘Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair,’ was recorded to welcome people to San Francisco, billed as a city of gentle people with flowers in their hair and love in their hearts.

The lyrics included:

In the streets of San Francisco

Fast forward to the night of August 20, 2011, where the San Francisco 49ers hosted their mortal enemies from across the Bay, the Oakland Raiders, in a pre-season game of FootBrawl at Candlestick Park, the mostly ungodly venue for entertainment in all of America, possibly the world.

As reported at the reference, this ‘sporting event’ featured plenty of thugs and guns, but nary a sign of any ‘gentle people with flowers in their hair’:

SAN FRANCISCO — A man wearing a shirt slamming the San Francisco 49ers was seriously wounded as gunfire erupted in the parking lot after the team's NFL preseason game, while another man sustained lesser injuries in an earlier shooting, police said.

The violence occurred after the 49ers' 17-3 victory Saturday night over the Oakland Raiders at Candlestick Park, police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.

A 24-year-old man was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for life-threatening injuries, and a 20-year-old man was hospitalized with less serious wounds, Andraychack told The Associated Press. Their names were not released.

Police Sgt. Frank Harrell said that in Saturday's attack the 24-year-old man, who was wearing a T-shirt referring to the 49ers with an obscenity, was shot two to four times in the stomach, according to reports in the Oakland Tribune and the San Francisco Chronicle. He drove his truck to a gate and stumbled to security, Harrell said.”

Reached at Pier 39 where she was registering illegal aliens to vote Democrat in 2012, former Shrieker of the House Nancy Pelosi parlayed the shootings into a plea for more and stricter gun control laws.

Pelosi said:

This is a wake-up call for our community and for all of America. We must pass and enforce stricter gun control laws to offset the awful influence that right-wing radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage have on vulnerable (and beer-blasted) sports fans.

Obama Counting on "Gaddafi Bounce" ?

President Obama has defied conventional political wisdom by vacationing at a luxurious escape for elitists at a time when unemployment and concerns over a double-dip recession are rampant and near panic levels.

Downgraded U.S. credit, out-of-control deficits, and sinking consumer confidence have ganged up on The One and produced a 26 percent approval rating with respect to economic issues.

Not exactly the sort of numbers an incumbent facing reelection in 14.5 months would savor.

But this is Barack Obama, one-time Messiah and clearly the most egotistical, arrogant, and clueless man to ever occupy the Oval Office.

NOTHING conventional applies to Obama—except for the lust and passion for campaign cash.

Notwithstanding his crummy approval ratings and general disaffection from within even his own party, Obama marched off to Martha’s Vineyard for a 10-day reprieve from the travails of being the most powerful man in the world, filthy rich, and designated champion for millions of little people who still believe in the tooth fairy and other foolishness like Obama’s Hope and Change.

What must he be thinking, ask pundits, both left and right oriented, as they ponder the wisdom of leaving Washington in flames, what with so many Republican fire fighters clamoring to become America's Fire Chief in 2012?

A hint may be gleaned from the ongoing saga of Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi, brutal leader of Libya.

Yes, the same tyrant that Obama promised would be disposed of in a matter of “days not weeks” –that broken promise issued five months ago!

As reported at the reference, events in Libya seem to be turning against Gaddafi, with some reports suggesting that he may be packed and ready to vacate Tripoli, once arrangements can be made for a safe landing elsewhere for he and his billions.

All of which suggests that the “His days are numbered” assurance from the Obama administration and others watching from behind may, in fact, bear fruit soon!

Which our scheming, manipulative president may see as a perfect cover for his Martha’s Vineyard escape and all those dreary reports about the coming economic depression!

In other words, Obama may be betting on a “Gaddafi Bounce” to hide behind long enough for people to forget about Martha’s Vineyard, etc., etc.

But what if Gaddafi outsmarts Obama--once again—and lives on to continue his slaughtering ways?

Obama loyalists claim that the president is not overly concerned.

After all, there are other “bounces” in the Obama arsenal, including the demise of Syria’s Assad likely to occur at any moment.

The really big question: Are there enough “bounces” in the world to sustain the reckless and irresponsible Obama through November, 2012?

Unable to Stomach Tea, Barack Obama Falls in Love With Tequila!

President Obama's dislike, disdain, and disgust with Tea--as in Tea Party--is legend. In the president's convoluted thinking, the Tea Party exists only for the purpose of making his life miserable by limiting his occupation of the White House to one tortured term.

Torture for the American people, that is.

By contrast, the President has shown an immediate and passionate affinity for Tequila--as in Tequila Party--named as such by Hispanic activists intent on making a national splash from the left side of the aisle.

After meeting with Tequila Party leaders at the White House recently, President Obama decided that some laws are just too mean-spirited to enforce-- and not in the best interests of his reelection campaign.

That meeting inspired Obama’s politically-motivated decision to ignore the law by refusing to deport illegal aliens, a punishment prescribed by law.

Tequila, it turns out, is just as evil and addictive as tobacco!

As Obama has repeatedly demonstrated, he believes that the rule of law is fungible, subject to political whims and the crass personal ambitions of an incompetent community organizer from Chicago.

Fortunately, illegal aliens cannot vote. Right?

That, too, is a provision of the law held in low regard by Democrats since most illegal aliens are Hispanics and would always vote for Democrats, sight unseen.

Do not look for Eric Holder and his corrupt DOJ to be in heated pursuit of voter fraud and other criminal violations that Obama is counting on in 2012!

Bowing to pressure from immigrant rights activists, the Obama administration said Thursday that it will halt deportation proceedings on a case-by-case basis against illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria, such as attending school, having family in the military or having primary responsible for other family members’ care.

The move marks a major step for President Obama, who for months has said he does not have broad categorical authority to halt deportations and said he must follow the laws as Congress has written them.

The top House Republican on the Judiciary Committee said the move is part of a White House plan “to grant backdoor amnesty to illegal immigrants.”

“The Obama administration should enforce immigration laws, not look for ways to ignore them,” said Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican. “The Obama administration should not pick and choose which laws to enforce. Administration officials should remember the oath of office they took to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land.”

Hooray for you, Rep. Smith!

Unfortunately, Obama does not recognize the U.S. Constitution as a legitimate instrument, and regards any oath to uphold said document as frivolous and non-binding.

Which is all the more reason why we the people must unite to impeach Barack Obama in November 2012.

The only question: Can America survive another year of abuse at the hands of Barack Obama? Or will our Constitution and Democracy drown in a tsunami of Tequila?

What Does Maxine Waters Expect from President Obama?

Maxine Waters has joined the chorus of those disenchanted with the Hope and Change malarkey advanced by Barack Obama.

As reported at the reference, Ms. Waters rebuked the president in a kinder, gentler manner:

Rep. Waters politely chastised President Obama for not including majority Black Communities on his, “jobs bus tour,” of the Mid-West recently. Water’s went on to publicly admit that she and her fellow Congressional Black Caucus(CBC) Members were/are tired of making excuses for the President within the Black Community, but then admitted that they don’t put pressure on the President because he is beloved in the same community and they don’t want either he or the community coming after them.

I say to Rep. Waters, “if those excuses actually sleep at night, then so be it,” but in reality, President Obama and his handlers know full well that he will receive over 90% of the Black Vote in 2012, no matter how bad things get for the community.

What is really upsetting to Rep. Waters is in reality that she and her fellow CBC members are feeling the heat from some even more Leftist activists within the Black Community, who are asking, “Where is the political payback for once again delivering over 90% of the Black Vote for Democrat Candidates in 2010 and why won’t this President take our calls, let alone be seen in public with us?

Another unpleasant reality that Rep. Waters has to deal with politically is that for the last 50 years people like her and other self-appointed Black Leaders have painted our community into a corner and even with a Black Man (bi-racial) in the White House they seem to get no respect from the powers within their own party. The CBC serves the dual purposes of being the racial attack dogs of the Democrat Party and giving the idea of Socialist Government color, yet when the party can’t deliver on all their political promises they seek to blame someone else and use race as the foil to get compliance on the other side. Remember this is the same CBC that actively worked with the media to portray the Tea Party as a movement of racist backwoods rednecks that long for the days when Black Americans swung from tress by the end of a rope, would delighted if slavery could be brought back tomorrow and finally just could not deal with a Black Man in the White House.”

Although she makes a good point in admitting that the president has failed the black community (and all of America, really), one is puzzled to understand just what remedial action Waters would have the president take.

How about tax cuts for those in business and in a position to add employees?

Oops! Sorry, Maxine, but cutting taxes is a major no-no in the liberal fairyland commonly known as the Democrat Party.

Well, how about a new stimulus package to pump a trillion or so into the Obama-laden economy?

Oops, again! America has just suffered a humiliating downgrade of our AAA credit because our leaders, led from behind by Obama, failed to slice enough from the nation’s debt. Spending more seems unlikely to help restore out AAA credit!

How about a major “charm” campaign by the president to woo reluctant investors into hiring?

Oops, thrice!

One of the major causes of the jobs crisis is Obama’s personal vendetta against private enterprise. His non-stop assault on American businesses with threats of regulation and higher taxes should be added to the long list of impeachable offenses committed by this clueless non-leader!

If not lower taxes, more spending, or making nice to business, then what?

Perhaps it is time for black leaders like Maxine Waters to unleash themselves from the manacle of progressive illogic long enough to pursue policies and people that can, and will if given the chance, improve the economic fortunes of all Americans, including people of color.

Its called conservatism, Maxine, and it provides the best opportunity for all Americans to prosper.

SHOCK POLL: 26 Percent Approve of Obama Mangling of Economy!

Proving once and for all that liberalism is indeed a severe mental disorder with no known cure, a new poll finds that 26 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s mangling of the economy.

Twenty six people I could understand—but twenty six percent of 300 million? That is a lot of very sick people.

As reported at the reference in part:

A new low of 26% of Americans approve of President Barack Obama's handling of the economy, down 11 percentage points since Gallup last measured it in mid-May and well below his previous low of 35% in November 2010.

Obama earns similarly low approval for his handling of the federal budget deficit (24%) and creating jobs (29%).

The president fares relatively better on foreign policy matters, with 53% of Americans approving of his handling of terrorism and roughly 4 in 10 approving on foreign affairs and the situation in Afghanistan. Also, 41% approve of Obama on education.

The burning questions generated by this report are worthy of a Special Prosecutor and a Blue-ribbon congressional inquiry. Specific answers must be established for the following:

Just who are these brain-dead dodos?

Are they taking their medications?

Are they qualified for incarceration?

Do they remember that 9-1-1 is the universal emergency number?

Do any of them read?

Most importantly, are any registered to vote and what can be done to prevent them from doing so in 2012?

Failed Obama Presidency: 'Bad Luck," or Bad Policy?

Just what in the hell brand of liquid refreshment do they serve on that Obama campaign bus, which, lest we forget, is operated and maintained at taxpayer’s expense?

The question, though mostly rhetorical, does have a serious quality when one considers Obama’s latest “Blame Everyone But Me” blurb from the bus whilst on “official business” in Iowa.

As reported at the reference, in part, The One elevated the art of political misrepresentation to a precise science when he said:

We had reversed the recession, avoided a depression, gotten the economy moving again,” Obama told a crowd in Decorah, Iowa.

He continued,” “But over the last six months we’ve had a run of bad luck.” Obama listed three events overseas — the Arab Spring uprisings, the tsunami in Japan, and the European debt crises — which set the economy back.

Hmm.

Odd that the President failed to give even honorable mention to other events directly tied to his performance while occupying the White House.

Events such as:

His proposed budget for 2012 which merely sought to freeze spending at the level which has produced trillion dollar deficits over the past two years;

His failure to lead on raising the debt ceiling and his insufferable refusal to engage the issue seriously by presenting any sort of written plan;

The humiliating and costly downgrade of America’s AAA credit rating, the first such downgrade in our history;

Implementation of ObamaCare, the total cost of which is still unknown, but which will surely exceed the wild promises Obama made in order to get the unconstitutional bill through his Marxist Congress;

His dreadful “stimulus” bill which added close to a trillion to the deficit, but which did nothing to improve the unemployment situation;

His incessant badgering of private enterprise with new regulations and threats of higher taxes, actions which cause responsible business people to hesitate when it comes to investments that would add jobs;

His myopic, ill-informed view that government can create jobs, when, in fact, government can only eliminate jobs as his presidency has proven; and

His constant bullying of Americans with the drive and intelligence to succeed (The rich), and his anti-American notion which holds that government has a moral obligation to redistribute wealth to the poor and less successful.

Branch Rickey, the late innovative baseball executive, once famously said, “Luck is the residue of design.”

With all due respect, Mr. President, your failed presidency is mostly attributable to the design of your bankrupt policies, rather than any “bad luck”!

Rather than toning down his job-killing, anti-business, and higher taxes rhetoric in order to help America’s battered economy create jobs, President Obama has decided to take his “message” directly to the people, via a bus tour through Minnesota, Illinois, and Iowa.

“The president will discuss ways to grow the economy, strengthen the middle class and accelerate hiring in communities and towns across the nation and hear directly from Americans, including local families and small business owners,” the White House said in a statement.

Translated into honest English, the White House statement reads, “The president will advise Americans to abandon the old-school ‘Hope and Change’ loose talk from 2008, and accept reality. Its called ‘Get Used to It’ and involves coming to terms with 9% or greater unemployment forever, ungodly deficits that will take generations to retire, and a credit rating which proves that American Exceptionalism is a relic from the past.”

“The president will also advise the electorate to blame the putrid economy and lack of jobs on Republicans, S&P, and most especially, Tea Party terrorists.”

Predictably, the Obama administration will send the bills for this partisan malarkey to we the people.

That is so because this sight-seeing gala is being touted as an “official” rather than “campaign” event by word weasels with accounting and law degrees operating out of offices occupied by tyrants and ne’er do well bag men in the Czar Wing of the White House.

Still, there is great hope that the Obama bus will stall in the driveway of the White House and never invade Minnesota, Illinois, or Iowa.

Should that blessed stall come to pass, Obama might want to check the under-belly of his bus for those whom have ‘Shoved Under the Bus’ in order to advance the career and ambitions of Barack Hussein Obama.

Remember the "Osama" Bounce?

Although it seems like eons ago, in fact, it was on May 1 that President Obama stood before microphones and television cameras at the White House to announce the assassination of Osama bin Laden, former CEO of Terrorism, Inc. and leader of the Al-Quaeda branch of the Religion of Peace.

Obama’s announcement set off a spontaneous round of thundering jingoism and celebration from coast-to-coast, including college campuses where young college students rallied and chanted, “We’re Number 1!, We’re Number 1!” expressions of boast normally reserved for really important matters like a basketball or football victory over a bitter rival.

The next morning, America was still celebrating wildly. So much so that Joy Behar and Barbara Walters of the View proposed that the 2012 elections should be cancelled because of Obama’s newly earned stature as America’s Killer Dude-In-Chief.

By giving orders which caused Navy SEALS to splatter the personage of bin Laden directly to Allah in about 100 bloody pieces, the Barack Obama presidency was instantly rescued from the dustbin of failure and consigned to the “can’t miss for re-election” category.”

Behar and Walters could barely contain their glee as they contemplated Act 2 of the worst presidency in history:

View co-hosts Joy Behar and Barbara Walters on Monday immediately politicized the killing of terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. After giving credit to Barack Obama for the successful strike, supposedly straight journalist Walters giddily announced, "I would hate now to be a Republican candidate thinking of running."

Fast forward just 90 days or so and you have a weakened President who, by “leading from behind,” has driven America to the brink of default and, having failed to accomplish that nasty deed, still managed to preside over the first credit downgrade in U.S. history.

Now instead of basking in the glory of a stunning military coup over an unarmed wimp in hiding, Obama has been reduced to watching the stock market collapse on national TV while he blames Republicans and Standards and Poor’s for the awful financial mess inherited from George W. Bush.

Sorry, Joy and Barbara, but as things stand today, canceling the remaining 14 months of Obama’s presidency seems the most prudent course for America, given the fact that 73% of the public believe that the nation is headed in the wrong direction!

Should Obama Cancel Escape to Martha's Vineyard--In the Name of 'Shared Sacrifice"?

As President Obama prepares to jet off to the tranquility and luxury of Martha’s Vineyard for a 10-day respite from the rigors of being the most powerful man on earth, filthy rich, and a messiah-like icon to millions who apparently do not give a damn about truth or facts, the state of the American Union is precarious, to say the least.

Indeed, as America’s Elitist-in-Chief races to escape the unwashed masses who bought into the liberal media- created ObamaMania crap, all is not well:

( )45 Million Americans are receiving food stamps;

( )”Full employment” has been refined to mean an unemployment rate of 8.75 percent, which, under Obama, is unachievable;

( )Federal spending and deficits have long been out-of-control, made all the worse by two years of governance at the hands of Democrat “spend terrorists” in the White House, the U.S. House, and the Senate;

( )After 35 months of the Obama presidency, the world agrees with The One’s opinion that America is not exceptional or special; a fact that The One is directly responsible for;

( )An astounding 73 percent of Americans believe that the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction, a harsh judgment that Obama blames on Republicans, Standard and Poors, and the ever reliable punching bag, former President George W. Bush.

Meanwhile, when it comes to socialized medicine known as ObamaCare, and fixing the federal deficit which may increase to at least $20 trillion over ten years, our befuddled and in-over-his-head Marxist president pleads for “shared sacrifice” from all, but mostly from the rich, those unpatriotic rascals with the temerity to succeed and prosper.

To which a perfect rejoinder might be: Heal thyself, Physician, or more succinctly, “Lead by example!”

Obama’s angst to get the hell out of Washington was made perfectly clear by his response to the idea that Congress should be called back given the Obama-created economic crisis.

He said, “The last thing we need is Congress spending more time arguing in D.C.” “What I figure is, they need to spend more time out here listening to you and hearing how fed up you are.”

Oops!

That may be the LAST thing you need, Mr. President, given the fact that your approval rating is headed south at breakneck speed, most people oppose another costly, unworkable, and unsustainable entitlement program (ObamaCare), and given the overwhelming disgust at the “agreement” that you signed, which will add seven trillion dollars to the deficit!

Still, we Americans should be grateful to the President for his selfless concern about the impact of bringing Congress back into session.

And, no, Obama’s refusal has NOTHING to do with the fact that calling Congress back would require that he cancel his own vacation plans.

With Obama, its all about what is best for America—the only problem is his goofy perception that what he wants is ALWAYS best!

Has God Forsaken America?

Events of just this past week render the question entirely reasonable.

Consider the clumsy fumbling and bungling of Congress and the President during the deficit ceiling debacle. One could probably get a more organized, deliberate body of 536 individuals through random conscription off the streets and back alleys of our major cities.

Despite all of the hoopla, charges and counter-charges between the political thugs, the net result is that federal debt will INCREASE by at least seven trillion dollars, and probably more, over the next ten years!

Congress and President Obama punted the debt-ceiling football to a “Super Committee” of six Democrats and six Republicans who are supposed to recommend another $1.5 trillion dollars in deficit reduction by Thanksgiving.

The result reported out by the Super Committee is sure to be one huge turkey, with little or nothing to give thanks for.

Other economic news is just as dreary. The economy is in a comatose state of non-growth, offering little hope for 14 million Americans unable to find work.

America’s AAA credit rating is gone, with no hope for regaining it anytime soon. Higher interest rates are sure to follow, adding to widespread economic harassment.

And then there is the heartbreaking news from Afghanistan where 30 brave America souls were vanquished, including several Navy SEALS heroes from the unit that killed Osama bin Laden.

That news was particularly painful and added a large exclamation mark! next to the recent run of simply awful news.

Adding to the misery, the President of the United States appears incredibly weak in both experience and competence.

Many of his values seem at odds with those of most Americans, and that often gives the impression that this president is working against the interests of the nation.

Has God forsaken America? If so, what can we do to regain His blessed grace?

Tea Party Members "Like Terrorists," Mr. Biden?

Vice-president Joe Biden, no doubt with coaching and encouragement from Janet Napolitano and other progressives in the Obama Administration, significantly lowered the bar on civility and adult behavior with a scurrilous attack on elected members of the U.S. Congress.

Specifically, Biden referred to Tea Party members as “terrorists” for their heroic efforts to force fiscal responsibility down the throats of an out-of-touch president and Democrat cohorts in Congress, all of whom are addicted to spending money that America simply does not have.

Terrorists, Mr. VP?

Odd language, that, especially from an administration which refuses to acknowledge that America is at war with radical Islam, and which will do damn near anything to avoid the word “terrorism” when referring to the violence and mayhem inflicted on innocent people by the “Religion of Peace.”

Still, Biden’s remarks should come as no great surprise, given his warped view that paying higher taxes is “patriotic”!

Which raises an interesting question: If Biden had been alive during the American revolution, whose side would he be on?

King George, or those “terrorists” who dumped tea in Boston Harbor to protest unfair taxes and tyranny?

Sour Grapes with Your "Satan Sandwich," Rep. Cleaver?

Everyone knows that the U.S. House is home to right-wing zealots, eccentric nut balls, and racists known as Tea Party activists, right?

But did you know that the Nanny House of Pelosi is also digs for demented, far-left rascals?

As reported, in part, at the reference, Emanuel Cleaver is not particularly thrilled with the “deal” struck on the debt ceiling:

Emanuel Cleaver Democratic Congressman, chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus and United Methodist minister, appeared on MSNBC last night and vented his strong disapproval of what he sees, concluding “if I were a Republican, this is a night to party.”

Cleaver also described for MSNBC host Chris Jansing just how much he truly despised this “deal

“If you lift the bun, what you see is antithetical to everything the great religions of the world teach. Which is take care of the poor, take of the aged. . . . I am concerned about this because we don’t know the details. And until we see the details, we’re going to be extremely non-committed, but on the surface it looks like a Satan sandwich.”

Hmm. How is it that the “Minister” is able to label the Deal as “antithetical to everything the great religions of the world teach” without lifting the bun and knowing the details?

Perhaps the minister should be asked, “Sour Grapes with Your “Satan Sandwich,” Rep. Cleaver?

ILLEGALS Follow the Dinero, Head Back to Mexico!

Although Barack Obama and his Marxist cohorts take enormous pride in being “illegal alien-friendly,” the Obama economic depression is driving hundreds of thousands of illegals back home to Mexico.

As reported in the media:

“Though construction generally is the best-paying work for illegal aliens, California’s agriculture industry has depended on these workers also. Now, more are heading back to Mexico where opportunities are improving.

“It’s now easier to buy homes on credit, find a job and access higher education in Mexico,” Sacramento’s Mexican consul general, Carlos González Gutiérrez, said Wednesday.

Mexico’s unemployment rate is now 4.9 percent, compared with 9.2 percent joblessness in the United States.”

Of course, what is NOT being said is that Mexico’s low unemployment rate is due, in large part, to the fact that the third-world nation has exported millions of unskilled, non-English speaking illegals to the United States where they undercut American citizens by working for lower pay and with no benefits.

Still, America stands to benefit if the “reverse invasion” continues because our nation currently spends more than $100 billion each year to feed, educate, house, and provide health care to illegals who do not belong here.

Over the course of 10 years, that amounts to more than one trillion dollars, which should be used to pay down the deficit instead of buying votes for Democrats.

Earth to Obama and progressives: Illegal aliens are self-deporting, which is wonderful news for the American economy, education, health care and culture.

All of which means that wasting money on the DREAM Act, Comprehensive Immigration Reform and other such illegal-pandering nonsense is uncalled for, unnecessary, and, at this point, un-American.

The last thing America needs is for a gaggle of bleeding heart liberals to do something stupid that will entice illegals to stay or, God forbid, motivate even more to come here from Mexico!

Tea Party Alert: Beware the Obama-McConnell Spending Orgy!

According to breaking news headlines cluttering my TV screen, President Obama and Minority Senate Leader Mitch McConnell are “VERY CLOSE” to agreement on a deal (scam) that will end the debt-ceiling crisis, avoid default, and transport 307 million Americans to the promised land where we will all live happy forever more.

All in one fell swoop!

The good news is that Harry Reid has been “politically castrated” on national TV by Drs. Obama and McConnell without wasting taxpayer money and time on unnecessary anesthetics!

Thank God, we do NOT feel your pain, Senator Reid!

The bad news is that Tea Party Republicans in the U.S. House are also slated for “group castration,” again with Drs. Obama and McConnell administering the tough medicine to those vermin with the audacity to demand a balanced budget!

Let the message for forth to the heroic Tea Party members who have changed the way Americans think about spending and deficits: DO NOT WAIVER IN YOUR COMMITMENT TO CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES!

Is Nancy Pelosi's Life as We Know It Worth Saving?

Once again, Comrade Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco has made headlines, this time with an out-of-this-world remark about the ongoing debt-ceiling war.

The former Shrieker of the House entertained the world with this pearl of wisdom:

“What we’re trying to do is save the world from the Republican budget,” she said. “We’re trying to save life on this planet as we know it today.”

So, just what is “Life as we know it” according to this bug-eyed grandma and is it worth saving?

Consider the fact that Comrade Nancy does hail from San Francisco—the only American city that tried to join the former USSR, but was rejected because Moscow found folks here too far to the left.

In San Francisco, “Life as we know it” includes the following untoward circumstances, because in San Francisco it is:

*A felony to vote Republican;

*Against the law to fly Old Glory without a special permit on Cinco de Mayo day when the Mexican flag is preeminent, and must not be mocked with vulgar displays of excessive Americanism;

* A hate crime to speak English at fast-food restaurants, car washes, emergency rooms, and whenever speaking to Hispanics obviously here illegally;

* A violation to wear the uniform of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines, especially when one does so with an arrogant, “America First,” belligerence.

* True that attending a Christian church will automatically cause one's property taxes to double. However, there is an appeals process.

* Required that job applicants prove that they are transvestite, gay, handicapped, or a racial minority to qualify;

* A major crime to work at Wal-Mart;

*Possible to get an abortion on one of those fabulous cable cars, at most self-serve gas stations, at progressive piano bars, and at Alcatraz Island after 6pm, except on Mother's Day;

* Not enough to be a young Middle Eastern male who speaks Arabic in order to be considered a protected minority. In order to be so classified, one must have been arrested and charged with a terrorist act--- like attempting to move the Golden Gate Bridge to Oregon with an IED;

* Required that straight, white, employed Christian males notify the police 60 days before moving into a new neighborhood;

* Necessary to enroll as a dues-paying member of ACLU in order to secure a driver’s license;

*True that convicted sex offenders moving into San Francisco are automatically registered to vote as Democrats.

Therefore, the question as to whether liberalism spawns a life worth living is very much a matter of judgment and morality—both of which are in very short supply in the mind of Nancy Pelosi and other moon bats in ‘Frisco!

Horrible Truth: There Is NO Plan to CUT Deficit

Although politicians from both sides of the political spectrum proudly declare that their particular “plan” will take a bite our of the whopping federal deficit, the brutal truth is quite the opposite.

Of the current plans being considered, neither the Boehner nor Reed plan will actually eat into the $14.3 trillion dollar yoke that is being fitted for our grandchildren, and Lord knows how many generations to follow.

Because this nation spends about $100 billion more each month than revenues received, the deficit automatically grows by about one-trillion each year. And that does not include interest on the debt or unexpected emergencies.

Thus, when John Boehner or Harry Reid boasts of saving a couple of trillion dollars over 10 years, the simple truth is that that would barely enable America to keep up with the escalating deficit!

If either of these plans is enacted, in year 2021 America will still have a $14.3 trillion dollar deficit, or more.

Furthermore, America has no savings for a rainy day, although violent storms are forecast for decades to come.

The solution: Congress must pass and the president must sign legislation which CUTS the debt-ceiling and requires immediate spending cuts so as to stop the accumulation of any more debt. Period!

Future budgets must be designed to cut ten percent of the federal deficit each year so that the debt is retired, in full, by 2021.

Call it a “Balanced Budget” by default if you will. America can no longer afford to have the nation’s financial future left in the hands of politicians who get elected by giving away other people’s money!

Tough medicine?

Of course, but unless the political class takes on this mess in a serious fashion, America will be pan handling on the Mexican border and in other third-world nations for funds to meet our basic needs!

Obama Speech: Non-Political Message of National Concern--or Political Spam?

CHANGE, more unwanted change, brought to We the People from the inept poser-in-chief, Barack Obama!

Traditionally, the announcement that the “President will address the nation at 9PM this evening,” is delivered in somber tones with classical music in the background, and means that:

( )America is about to engage in Kinetic Military Action (War in American English); or

( )America has been attacked, like on 9-11-01, 12-07-41; or

( )The brains of a high-value enemy combatant (Osama bin Laden) have been blown to smithereens, and the evil carcass has already buried at sea; or

( )A corrupt, lying weasel is getting the hell out of Washington before being forcibly removed from office (Richard Millhouse Nixon).

Those used to be the rules of engagement for major addresses to the American people from the president.

Until last night, that is.

In yet another foul misjudgment of epic proportions, Barack Obama has transformed the storied “Address to the Nation” from a unifying, inspirational message from the most power man on earth to everyday, average U.S. citizens into a tawdry campaign stop where the incumbent hawks Marxism and other anti-American pap to unsuspecting citizens, and does so on the dimes of networks and cable companies.

The real tragedy is that while Obama is delivering his “Collateral Damage” warning and John Boehner is responding in kind, no one is working on the bloody debt-crisis!

In his coast-to-coast spam-athon, Obama used all the catch phrases and cliches to get those “phones ringing,”-- at the office of Speaker Boehner.

Repeatedly, The One uttered the words “Fair Share” and “balanced” in his non-paid spam blast to convince the American people that a monthly federal deficit of $100 billion or so is not so much a spending problem, as it is a major rip-off by those who already pay 90 percent of all taxes and whom should be forced to pay even more to fund liberal spending eccentricities.

That argument in a society where most people pay zero—nada, none—in taxes is specious, at best!

If Obama really gave a tinker’s dam about the economy and the public debt, he would work to close the outrageous loopholes that allow anyone still capable of inhaling to pay NO TAXES!

Because whether progressive nut balls accept it or not, zero TAXES is NOT a “fair share” for anyone!

Any future Obama “Address to the Nation” must be carefully reviewed by cable and network executives to assure that the integrity of the medium is maintained.

That, and a crawler reading, “800-obamasucks” on the bottom of the screen would help put this nonsense in proper perspective!

Obama, Senate Democrats Need to Say YES! to Cut, Cap, and Balance!

During President Obama’s emotional tirade on Friday, he fumed about Republicans and posed the following question, “Can they say yes to anything?”

The answer to that rhetorical gouging is an emphatic: Yes! they can, and have already done so!

Fact is, the ONLY actual legislation for ending the debt-ceiling crisis was passed Monday by the U.S. House.

Its called “Cut, Cap, and Balance” and passed by a 234-190 tally in the House, including five votes from Democrats.

Cut, Cap, and Balance was then sent to the U.S. Senate, where, at the hysterical urging of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, it was tabled, 51-46.

All Republican Senators voted YES!

If just a couple of Democrats in the U.S. Senate had voted YES!, Cut, Cap, and Balance might have passed and been headed to the president for signature.

The question then would be, “Can President Obama say YES! to a reasonable bill to end the debt ceiling crisis and tackle the deficit in a responsible manner?”

Bill Wilson of Americans for Limited Government put it this way as reported at the reference:

“The defeat today in the Senate of the ‘Cut, Cap, and Balance’ provision to deal with the debt ceiling crisis is a tragedy. We have lost, through this vote, not just the ability of any short term remedy, but the opportunity to put America on a trajectory for fiscal sustainability and a return to sound economic planning and thinking. Today is going to be marked, frankly, as a tragic day in American history. This is the day when the Senate went on record wanting to see America expand its debt, which will inevitably lead to the collapse of the dollar and the collapse of the U.S. economy.
“Credit rating agencies Moody’s and S&P have warned if a fiscal consolidation plan of at least $4 trillion is not put in place now, our Triple-A credit rating will be revoked. That will crash markets all over the world, mean higher interest payments, which already total in the hundreds of billions every year, and make the size of budget cuts needed even larger in the future. Washington simply is not taking this threat seriously. ‘Cut, Cap, and Balance’ is the only proposal on the table that can deal with this threat in a timely and effective manner, saving $5.8 trillion in the next ten years and balancing the budget.
“Senators who profess to support a Balanced Budget Amendment and who voted no on ‘Cut, Cap, and Balance’ have, through their deceit, tabled the one proposal that can prevent a downgrade. They are guaranteeing that their own states, which too will be affected by a Treasury downgrade, will have to make even higher interest payments on municipal debt. By fighting budget cuts in Washington, senators are guaranteeing bigger budget cuts at home down the road.
“When the nation is downgraded, and markets crash, the American people now have someone to blame: Those senators that refused to take the opportunity presented by ‘Cut, Cap, and Balance’ to restore order to the nation’s fiscal house.”

Thus, the issue drags on and the threat of a default remains alive.

When will President Obama and Senate Democrats get serious about reigning in spending and cutting the deficit?

Can they say YES! to the “shovel ready” solution known as Cut, Cap, and Balance?

Democrat Pollster: If Election Were Held Today, Obama Would Lose!

More bad news for America’s employment picture AND a grim poll for President Obama which suggests that The One himself may join the ranks of the unemployed in 2012.

As reported, in part, at the reference:

A Democratic polling firm said President Obama's already weak job-approval numbers are "worse than they appear" and he likely would lose the election if it were held today.

For the first time in a year, Mr. Obama does not lead former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in Public Policy Polling's monthly national poll on the 2012 presidential race. They are tied at 45 percent, and Mr. Obama is losing among independent voters by a margin of 49 percent to 44 percent.

Worse for Mr. Obama, PPP said, the "vast majority" of undecideds disapprove of the president's performance. The survey of registered voters was conducted July 15-17.
"There's a very good chance Barack Obama would lose if he had to stand for re-election today," said Dean Debnam, president of PPP. "This is his worst poll standing in a long time, and he really needs the economy to start turning around."

So how does THAT poll fit into your recent obsession with polls and concern for what Americans want, Mr. President?

Perhaps it is time to abandon the scare tactics over Social Security and the debt-ceiling hysteria?

Why not roll up your sleeves and think about the best interests of all Americans, rather pandering to corrupt unions, illegal aliens, and lawyers that represent special interests?

Most specifically, why not concede that America cannot and will not agree to a Marxist take-over of our beloved nation?

The following steps could improve your standing with the American people:

( ) Repeal ObamaCare in its entirety;

( ) Get behind a serious program to deal with the toxic spending and deficit accumulation. May we recommend a full and complete endorsement of the Cut, Cap, and Balance bill that recently passed the U.S. House?

( )Comply with the War Powers Resolution with respect to Libya and any and all future wars or “Kinetic” actions;

( )Secure our borders, with military force if needed. We need a permanent, sizable military presence at the border to protect American citizens from invasion by criminals from Mexico;

( )Drop any and all plans to grant amnesty to illegal aliens, including the idiotic and wasteful “Dream” outrage. America is in desperate financial straits: We simply cannot waste additional billions on invading criminals at the expense of American citizens;

( )Cease all foreign aid to Mexico until that nation takes action to keep its citizens from invading America. Mexico needs to prevent, rather than encourage, its people from coming north illegally.

Finally, Mr. President, you should cherish and love the U.S. Constitution and rule of law.

After all, you did swear to uphold and defend our Constitution!

A Poll That Barack Needs to Read!

With America at risk of default what with the debt-ceiling crisis, President Obama allegedly suddenly finds comfort and wisdom in what the people want.

In fact, Obama gushed with pride recently while claiming that 80 percent of the American people agree with his “balanced” approach to the crisis.

However, as indicated at the reference, most voters do NOT agree with raising the debt limit and believe that Obama was using missed Social Security checks as a scare tactic:

Most American voters oppose raising the national debt ceiling and think talk of missed Social Security checks is just a scare tactic. Voters are optimistic that a debt deal will be made soon, and if it isn’t they will blame both Republicans and Democrats.

These are just some of the findings from a Fox poll released Wednesday.

Voters were asked to imagine being a lawmaker in Congress who had to cast an up-or-down vote on raising the debt ceiling. The poll found 35 percent would vote in favor of increasing the limit, while 60 percent would vote against it.

Most Tea Partiers (81 percent), Republicans (76 percent) and independents (63 percent) would vote against raising the limit. Views among Democrats are more evenly divided: 50 percent would raise it and 44 percent wouldn’t.”

Get that, Barack? Sixty percent, including 44 percent of Democrats, disagree with you on raising the limit!

An Obama Epiphany on What Americans Want?

The American people have never approved of the Marxist health scare scheme known as ObamaCare. From the time that the government takeover of 17 percent of the U.S. economy was first proposed in Congress to this day, a majority of Americans are opposed and favor repeal of the hideous bill.

Yet, President Obama continues to support the flawed bill, despite what the American people want.

In general, a large majority (70-80 percent) of Americans think the nation is headed in the wrong direction.

Yet, President Obama continues his assault on the U.S. economy, the Constitution, and American capitalism with naïve, foolish policies which push the nation further into debt and toward socialism, a failed ideology.

Overall, this president has shown a persistent and impassioned disregard for what the American people want, and what the Constitution requires.

Now, with America on the cusp of default what with the debt-ceiling crisis, President Obama suddenly has an epiphany, a spiritual awakening if you will, and finds comfort and wisdom in what the people want.

In fact, Obama gushed with pride recently while claiming that 80 percent of the American people agree with his “balanced” approach to the crisis.

The obvious question to The One is:

Barack Talks to a Banker About Raising Debt Ceiling

Anyone who has ever applied for a loan from a bank knows that the federal government’s current efforts to raise the debt ceiling would most likely be rejected by most financial institutions.

Still, it might be fun to imagine what would happen if Barack Obama was forced to jump through normal hoops in order to raise the debt ceiling.

We imagine the following dialog might take place:

Banker: Good morning, Mr. Obama. Please have a seat. You don’t mind if I call you Barack, do you?

BHO: Actually, I prefer “Mr. President.”

Banker: Great. Now about your application, Barack ,you are looking to increase your credit limit, is that right?

BHO: That is correct.

Banker: And what is the purpose? I do not see that listed here---

BHO: The increased limit is to accommodate urgently needed additional spending.

Banker: Ouch! This must be a typo, Barack. According to this, your current obligations exceed your income, leaving you with a substantial deficit every month. That must be an error?

BHO: Actually, it’s easily explained. We have had some ferocious headwinds recently that have set us back, and ---

Banker: You mean to say these are your actual numbers? You are already running a deficit and you want us to increase your credit line?

BHO: It’s just a temporary bleep that we are in and I expect---

Banker: Sir, I am sorry! It would be totally reckless and irresponsible of this institution to enable you to get further in debt. With all due respect, sir, your have a devastating spending problem. You need to stop spending, Barack!

BHO: What are you, some sort of Tea Party racist or something?

Banker: Mr. Obama, I must ask to leave this bank immediately. There is no way we can help you. Perhaps the Bank of Greece could help?

THAT is how any sane person would respond to Obama’s scam. Unfortunately, Obama is dealing with the Congress where sanity is never in vogue!

Dr. Charles Krauthammer’s daily comments and words of enlightenment should be mandatory reading/hearing in all American educational institutions, from day-care centers to post-graduate studies.

Krauthammer , a great American patriot, was recently engaged in a battle of wits with Nina Totenberg, the witless leftist who misrepresents the news for PBR.

The transcript from that epic battle is repeated at the reference and summarized below:

After claiming on PBS's "Inside Washington" that we now have a "completely compliant, pliant, supine press accepting every leak out of the White House," Charles Krauthammer silenced the entire panel by asking them to name one specific cut to entitlements the President has proposed .

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: [The President] talks a good game. “Oh, I’m prepared to do entitlements, I’m ready to do entitlements.” Not once has he ever enunciated in public - other than all these leaks which I don’t trust for half a second – one structural change in entitlements, and without that, everybody over the age of nine knows we are not going to get a handle on the debt. So let’s hear him say it in public once.
NINA TOTENBERG, NPR: So why is it when he offered the big deal, the $4 trillion deal…
GORDON PETERSON, HOST: The grand bargain.
TOTENBERG: …the grand bargain, Republicans backed away from it?
KRAUTHAMMER: When did he offer that?
TOTENBERG: He offered that last week.
KRAUTHAMMER: Where?
TOTENBERG: In, he did it, publicly and in negotiations.
KRAUTHAMMER: In your leaks? What’s in the $4 trillion?
TOTENBERG: But Charles.
KRAUTHAMMER: Give me a number. Explain to me what’s in it.
TOTENBERG: Why is it, in two, in matter of two days, Republicans backed away from that and said we don’t want it?
KRAUTHAMMER: You accept everything he says, a $4 trillion deal, if you don’t have a single item in it that you can enunciate.
TOTENBERG: Well, I’m not at the table. Perhaps you are, but I’m not.
KRAUTHAMMER: Well then how does he expect America to accept something in which he explains nothing?
TOTENBERG: He actually said I’m going to get heat from my own people.
Moments later when others on the panel continued with similar rhetoric concerning the President’s so-called plan to reduce entitlement spending, Krauthammer struck again:
KRAUTHAMMER: My colleagues are demonstrating a point I’ve been trying to make about how you have a completely compliant, pliant, supine press accepting every leak out of the White House. Tell me, we have been told, I’ve heard it again and again that the President’s prepared to do, to make cuts in entitlements. Name me one.
PETERSON: Charles, a complete and compliant supine press. I love that.
KRAUTHAMMER: Yeah.
PETERSON: Let’s move along.
KRAUTHAMMER: I’ve got, I’ve got other adjectives, but we’re short on time.

Once again, Krauthammer demonstrated a fabulous point.

For weeks the media have been telling Americans the President's big budget plan offered cuts in entitlements, but none of them can actually name what those cuts are.

Seems like that would be an important part of a report on spending cuts - specifically identifying what was going to be cut and by how much.

But that hasn't been important to the Obama-loving media during this debt ceiling debate.

If the President says his plan includes cuts to entitlements, that's good enough for them.”

But NOT good enough for Dr. Krauthammer who is charmed by truth and integrity, but NEVER double-talk and lies!

Time To Name a Hurricane After Obama?

Sheila Lee Jackson made big news a few years ago when she complained that the names given to hurricanes excluded African-American monikers, a clear case of racial discrimination according to the loosely-wrapped moon bat from Texas.

Now SLJ is accusing Republicans of refusing to budge to the demands of President Barack Obama because—well, because BHO is black.

As reported at the reference, in part:

Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) used the race card this afternoon to assess blame in the debt ceiling fight. Jackson Lee, a black Congresswoman, believes the disagreement over raising the debt ceiling is because of President Obama's race.

"I am particularly sensitive to the fact that only this president, only this president, only this one has received the kind attacks and disagreements and inability to work. Only this one," Jackson Lee said on the House floor this afternoon.

"Read between the lines."

"What is different about this president that should put him in a position that he should not receive the same kind of respectful treatment of when it is necessary to raise the debt limit in order to pay our bills, something required by both statute and the 14th amendment?"

What IS different, Representative, is that THIS president has added more debt to the backs of taxpayers in three years than his predecessor did in eight years.

What IS different about this president is that, in the face of the nation’s $14 trillion plus deficit, he proposed to simply “freeze” spending at 2010 levels, rather than making a serious proposal.

What IS different about this president is that he voted against raising the debt-ceiling in 2006 when George W. Bush was president. At that time, The One said the following:

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.” …….. Senator Barack Obama”

So while it is impossible to agree with Sheila Lee Jackson and her outlandish illogic on this issue, here is a proposed compromise:

Let’s name a hurricane, earthquake, or other natural disaster after Obama and call it even!

BROWN TURNS GOLDEN STATE PINK

California Governor Jerry Brown, a Democrat, signed a law which requires public schools in the Golden State to teach gay history.

Thus continues the never-ending attack by liberals on traditional family values and religious faith.

As reported at the link, in part, in signing the bill, Brown stated that history should be “honest”:

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown said Thursday he had signed a bill that will require public schools in the state to teach students about the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.

The bill, believed to be the first of its kind in the nation, will also require teachers to provide instruction on the role of people with disabilities.

"History should be honest," Brown said in a statement.

"This bill revises existing laws that prohibit discrimination in education and ensures that the important contributions of Americans from all backgrounds and walks of life are included in our history books. It represents an important step forward for our state, and I thank Senator Leno for his hard work on this historic legislation."

The governor was referring to the bill's author, Sen. Mark Leno, a San Francisco Democrat.”

With one stroke of his pen, Governor Brown managed to offend faithful practitioners of all major religions and a large percentage of California voters, including large numbers of black and Hispanic voters.

The big question: Just how “honest” will liberals be in compiling the educational text? How honest will they be with respect to HIV and other predominately gay disease?

Obama's Social Security Scam

As August 2 draws ever closer, President Obama has resorted to even larger and more despicable lies. Now he is threatening seniors that social security checks may not go out if the debt ceiling is not increased by August 2.

As reported by financial wizard Greg Hunter at the reference, in part, that is simply not true:

The gloves came off in the fight over raising the debt ceiling yesterday. On CBS News, the President basically threatened to cut off Social Security checks by August 3rd if a deal was not reached. Mr. Obama said to veteran newsman Scott Pelly, “I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven’t resolved this issue, because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it.”

What? So, the President admitted there is no money in the Social Security Trust Fund? Why in heck didn’t Mr. Pelly call the President on this???!!! Is it because Pelly is afraid he will never get another Presidential interview? I don’t know if the President really believes this, but it looks like a political scare tactic to me.

What I do know is the President’s statement is simply not true! According to Social Security, the Trust Fund holds something called “special issues.” Here’s what the government’s own website says, “Unlike marketable securities, special issues can be redeemed at any time at face value. Marketable securities are subject to the forces of the open market and may suffer a loss, or enjoy a gain, if sold before maturity. Investment in special issues gives the trust funds the same flexibility as holding cash.

Did you get that? What Social Security holds is the same as “holding cash!” Threatening to cut off funds to seniors and the disabled is more political theater than budgetary fact. It is also a clear sign the budget ceiling fight has turned ugly.

I think making political threats like this is a big mistake by the President. This could harm the idea of “full faith and credit” of the U.S. even if a deal is reached in time to make the August 2nd deadline. Hardline politics on both sides could make consumers of our debt run like hell. The President should be reassuring Treasury holders.

Instead, the President is not just scaring seniors, but also buyers of our debt. Why would anyone want to go through this kind of drama every year? Wouldn’t you be looking for fixed income investments someplace else? That’s what the biggest bond fund in the world (PIMCO) is doing. Also, every time the debt ceiling is raised (and there will be more in the future), this further devalues the dollar. In short, I think U.S. debt is already damaged goods. Treasury buyers might impose a real debt ceiling and stop buying altogether. Some countries have recently done just that.”

Rather than wasting time with silly fear mongering, Obama and the Democrats need to be working with Republicans to cut $4 trillion in spending—without raising taxes!

Under the morally-bankrupt guidance of Jesse Jackson and the La Raza crowd, baseball fans have been urged to forego the traditional celebration of the mid-summer classic, AKA, the All Star game, in favor of protesting a law passed to protect American citizens from the ravages of illegal aliens.

Jackson and La Raza, the Hispanic version of the KKK, are in a snit because the 2011 All Star game will be played at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, that “racist” state that passed SB 1070 to protect citizens, regardless of race, color or national origin, from illegal aliens, most of whom come here illegally via Mexico.

As reported at the reference, Jackson carried the Racism pennant to the ball players in a feeble attempt to demean and politicize the national past time:

Boehner's Boner on Debt Ceiling

Speaker Boehner’s apparent retreat from the fiscal revolution to save America is, in and of itself, a despicable cave-in to the Snake Brigade on the left, those anti-American, elitist intellectuals who do not give a tinker’s dam about anything but being re-elected in 2012.

The Snake Brigade includes the president and his Marxist minions in Congress, as well as the mainstream media.

Boehner’s boner is already being parlayed into political hay by the left as noted at the reference, in part:

Boehner "couldn't do revenues from wealthiest Americans," a White House official said.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) all but extinguished hopes for a big deficit reduction deal because he refused to support any tax increases for the wealthiest Americans, a senior administration official said Saturday night.

The White House official also disputed the charge that President Obama was not willing to give ground on entitlement programs, saying that is "not true."

"[Boehner] couldn't do revenues from wealthiest Americans, he walked away over that," the official said. "They are telling people we couldn't do entitlements, not true."

There you go, Mr. Speaker: According to the “good faith” people in the White House, the Republican Party is so obsessed with protecting the rich that the desperately needed entitlement reform was sacrificed just to make sure that the wealthy are not forced to share in the sacrifice needed to save our beloved nation.

Lesson learned: When playing with snakes, regardless of how wrapped in “good faith” they may seem, one does risk being bitten!

Thinking Like an Official of the Mexican Government

Thinking like an official of the Mexican government when it comes to illegal immigration to the U.S. requires that one abandon common sense and logic in total.

That reduced mental capacity would lead one to endorse the following immigration principles:

( ) There are NO valid borders between Mexico and the United States. In this age of progressive enlightenment, open borders reflects the new age of trust and reciprocity between the nations.

( ) Although there are no borders restricting migration from Mexico, prudence demands that the rich cultural heritage of the Mexican people be preserved.

Consequently, borders and border fences in southern Mexico are necessary to maintain our sovereignty and limit the dilution of our unique heritage by foreign interlopers.

( ) Mexico is a free and open society that welcomes diversity: We welcome the use of most dialects of Spanish in government, business, education, and medicine. Because English is the language of white racists, its use in strongly discouraged, especially around young children and the elderly.

( ) Mexican citizens unable to provide the bare necessities of life to their families have a patriotic duty to migrate to the U.S. where free welfare, housing, food, education, health care and other benefits are available.

( ) Legal migration to the United States is far too time-consuming and riddled with bureaucratic red tape for most Mexicans. Much of the paperwork is in English, which unnecessarily complicates legal migration even further.

( ) Given the fact that the U.S. immigration system is hopelessly broken, Mexicans desperately in need of
food, housing, education, and health care are urged (mandated) to sneak across the border and establish residency in one of the many Hispanic-majority cities and Sanctuary Cities that welcome undocumented refugees by the millions.

Government brochures, including detailed maps, names and phone numbers of DNC and ACLU offices, are available for free at any Mexican government office or on-line at mexinvasionofus.gov

( ) Those migrating illegally into America are advised to bring with them at least one late-term pregnant woman currently in, or about to be, in labor.

Upon delivery of a new born on American soil, or reasonably close thereto, the woman should immediately register the child as a U.S. citizen which will indemnify the entire family from deportation, and will open the door for other family members left in Mexico to migrate north.

( ) Mexicans planning to migrate illegally to United States are reminded that the U.S. is a racist, terrorist state that abuses minorities, especially brown people, with reckless abandon. When in danger, always find a local office of the Democrat Party or an ACLU office for help.

Do NOT seek help from the local police, most of whom are red-neck Tea Party bozos who foolishly believe that Arizona, Texas, California, and New Mexico are a part of the U.S. rather than Mexico.

( ) The Mexican government aggressively defends our citizens against abuse at the hands of racist, right-wing extremists. This effort is very expensive; thus, we encourage all patriotic Mexicans to send as much money back home as possible. Because most undocumented Mexicans will pay no taxes on their income, those savings should be the minimal amount sent home.

Barack Obama: The BLAME OTHERS President!

When President Obama officially leaves office on January 20, 2013 and passes the nearly-extinguished flame of American Exceptionalism to President-elect Mitt Romney and Vice-President-elect Sarah Palin, he will leave a legacy of blaming others for his dismal performance.

Truly, Barack Obama has been the Blame Others President.

For example, Obama spent the better part of two years blaming former President George W. Bush for everything from global warming to the putrid economy to Michelle’s ongoing struggle to eat carrot sticks rather than Tacos.

Now that the W. rag doll has been battered into oblivion, Obama has been forced to dig deeper to find situations and people to blame for the putrid economy and his persistent bungling of damn near everything that he sticks his nose into.

Obama’s blame game hit new lows on July 8 when the numbers for June showed an increase in the unemployment rate to 9.2 percent.

In trying to explain the alarming news, Barack Obama blamed Greece, Japan, high gas prices, uncertainty over the debt-ceiling issue, and natural disasters across the globe.

Not once did the president mention the anti-business climate that he and his administration have deliberately created. That would include the potentially devastating impact of ObamaCare; the prospect of recovery-killing higher taxes; and a plethora of new EPA regulations sure to stifle economic growth and cost jobs.

From this reporter’s perspective, Barack Obama needs to own up to his own failings.

A good, long, hard look into a mirror might go a long way toward helping Obama identify the culprit in this era of rising unemployment, out of control spending, and exploding federal deficits.

Just before he was put to death on Thursday, Humberto Leal Garcia said, "I am sorry for everything I have done. I have hurt a lot of people. Let this be final and be done. I take the full blame for this."

Leal then shouted "Viva Mexico," followed by "I'm ready warden, let's get the show on the road."

Garcia’s confession, although not under oath and without the benefit of legal representation, should put an end to the foolish argument advanced by some which suggests that the brutal rapist-killer could have been absolved of his heinous crime if only he had been allowed to consult a Mexican lawyer.

The truth is that the man was as guilty as sin, and when you do what he did to 16-year old Adria Sauceda in Texas, you can expect to be sent away from this life, even it takes 17 years to send you away!

As to Garcia’s “Viva Mexico!,” uttered twice before the thug was silenced forever, an appropriate rejoinder is: “Viva Texas Justice, and Adios Humberto Leal Garcia!”

Garcia’s execution should also serve as a warning to other Mexicans contemplating an invasion of America. That message is simply, “When in America, you must abide by US laws. Failure to do so can, depending on the crime, cost you your life!”

Obama Staunch Supporter of Rule of Law—Except for U.S. Law!

Mention strong enforcement of the Rule of Law and the name Barack Obama does not immediately pop to mind.

Obama’s flippant disregard for the War Powers Resolution and application to war in Libya; his refusal to secure the U.S.-Mexican border and enforce U.S. immigration laws; his sidestepping of the Congress via a vast left-wing conspiracy of stealth czars; and his sponsorship of ObamaCare, all point to a dictatorial tyrant intent on ruling by fiat, rather than by Democratic rule of law.

However, Obama’s anti-Rule of Law fetish went missing when the president became aware of an illegal alien Hispanic in need of intervention in Texas.

The plight of Humberto Leal Garcia, an illegal alien convicted of a brutal rape and murder 17 years ago, became vital to Obama’s 2012 campaign strategy. It became Obama’s mission to lobby the U.S. Supreme Court and delay the execution of Garcia, said execution scheduled for July 7.

In full campaign mode, President Obama flexed his liberal muscles and dispatched a 30-page epistle to the SCOTUS. which essentially argued that executing Garcia would violate international law and "would place the United States in irreparable breach of its international law obligation."

Obama argued for a delay to give the U.S. Congress time to craft a law more favorable to the convicted murderer and rapist, who was also an Mexican citizen.

As reported at the reference, the SCOTUS was neither convinced nor amused by Obama’s plea:

“Refusing to defer to President Obama’s view of a threat to U.S. foreign relations, the Supreme Court voted 5-4 late Thursday afternoon to allow Texas to execute a Mexican national whose international treaty rights were violated in his prosecution for murder. The Court majority dismissed as “free-ranging assertions” the President’s foreign policy arguments against the immediate execution of Humberto Leal Garcia, and added that the Obama Administration had not presented “a persuasive legal claim.”

Hmm.

The Obama Administration had not presented a “persuasive legal claim”?

One would expect much, much better from an alleged professor of law and Harvard Law School graduate.

Shortly after the SCOTUS rejected Obama’s “free-ranging assertions” and lack of “persuasive legal claim,” Texas law, and common sense, prevailed and the brutal killer-rapist was put to death.

Still, not all is lost: Obama can remind Hispanics and illegal aliens that he went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court on their behalf.

Obama can also claim that he championed the Rule of Law—even though it was international law that would have usurped American law had the president’s argument not been so devoid of “persuasive legal claim” and had it not been riddled with “free-ranging assertions.”

Obama's Independence Day Message

Given Barack Obama's penchant for tearing down America and Americans at every possible opportunity, do not be surprised if the Anointed One delivers an apology for the 4th of July.

I envision an Obama Independence Day apology speech to sound something like this:

My Fellow World Citizens:

Two hundred thirty five years ago, on July 4, 1776, a small band of angry white Christian males declared their independence and established a new nation, one that was supposed to bring hope and comfort to human kind all across the world.

Regrettably, instead of providing a beacon of hope for the world to rely on, right wing extremists established a nation of renegade capitalists who have started wars and oppressed hundreds of millions of innocent people in order to secure wealth.

Those right wing extremists, now celebrated in much of America as courageous freedom fighters and patriots guided by the divine power of Jesus Christ, have brought more war, poverty, and death to the world than any other demographic in human history.

Those right wing extremists stole property and assets rightfully belonging to subjects of the British Empire.

Those right wing extremists marched relentlessly, seizing all land between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in the name of "Manifest Destiny" which was their naive way of saying "Jesus made us do it."

Those right wing extremists slaughtered innocent people of color and took away their land and condemned them to live like captured animals.

Those right wing extremists forced English and Christianity down the throats of all people conquered.

Those right wing extremists imported millions of Africans to work as slaves and be considered subhuman because of their race.

Descendants of right wing extremists continued the legacy of treachery by starting world wars and using a devastating nuclear weapon that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese civilians.

Descendants of right wing extremists created a system of capitalism that rewards greed and punishes compassion.

Descendants of right wing extremists created a system of opportunity and prosperity that unfairly embarrasses and humiliates nations, once considered our allies, who cannot match the greed that lurks in the heart of American capitalists.

Descendants of right wing extremists implemented their racism through Jack Crow laws and mob lynching.

Descendants of right wing extremists continued to treat black people as subhuman through government-sponsored discrimination in education, employment, and housing.

Descendants of right wing extremists invaded Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq in the name of spreading freedom when the real objective was oil and other interests considered vital, economically, to the United States.

On and on the list of transgressions by descendants of right wing extremist goes, making America the most despicable and loathsome nation in human history.

Fellow world citizens, I stand before you today as the new president of the United States, committed to ending the legacy of right wing treachery and replacing it with a policy that takes wealth from the successful and gives said wealth to the mediocre and poor.

My administration is committed to slapping a great deal of that "Yankee" arrogance off the faces of right wing extremists so that America can once again be an obedient, nothing special force that works to be liked by other nations.

Know, too, that CHANGE is the objective of my administration.

YES WE CAN! become a nation of followers and mediocre citizens.

Being second best is America's new "Manifest Destiny" under my administration.

Obama’s Unauthorized War Continues: Hundreds of Bombing Raids by Navy and Air Force!

President Barack Obama refuses to face not face a simple truth: U.S. Armed Forces are still engaged in hostilities in Libya.

Unless one’s wonky logic allows “bombing raids” to be defined as non-hostile.

As reported at Reference 1, it sure as hell looks as though Obama is an at war President, whether he knows it or not:

“U.S. forces are still flying hundreds of bombing raids over Libya even though the Obama administration claims that American armed forces are only playing a limited role in the conflict.

Since NATO’s Operation Unified Protector took over from the American-led Operation Odyssey Dawn on 31 March, the U.S. has flown hundreds of strike missions, according to United States Africa Command (AFRICOM).

The White House originally claimed that U.S. planes were mostly providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and played down the number of bombing raids.

However AFRICOM spokeswoman Nicole Dalrymple said: 'U.S. aircraft continue to fly support missions, as well as strike sorties under NATO.”

Obama continues to slither about using his favorite political weapon—LIYING-- with statements like the one at reference 2:

“We have engaged in a limited operation to help a lot of people against one of the worst tyrants in the world, somebody who nobody should want to defend. And we should be sending out a unified message to this guy that he should step down and give his people a fair chance to live their lives,” Obama added.”

Translated into transparent English, Obama is really saying: To hell with the U.S. Constitution and the War Powers Resolution. After all, the smartest man on the planet wants to send a message!

While Obama continues to defy the constitution and Congress, the mainstream media is in summer vacation mode.

Where is the outrage from the Washington Post, LA Times and other leftist leaning posts?

More significantly, why are the streets not jammed with hundreds of thousands of anti-war protestors demanding an end to Obama’s war?

How ironic that on Independence Day the President is acting like a dictator and tyrant akin to King George when it comes to war, health care, and taxes.

TSA Dwells on Diaper of Dying Granny While Nigerian Stowaway Makes Mockery of Security!

Homeland Security boss Janet Napolitano has hit a new low in her mismanagement of the important office to which she has unfortunately ascended.

As reported at the reference, Napolitano’s TSA saw fit to challenge the veracity of a 95-year old dying granny, including a humiliating examination down of her adult diaper:

WASHINGTON: A 95-year-old cancer-stricken woman was forced to undergo 45 minutes of intrusive pat-down at a US airport, triggering an outrage on the treatment meted out to her.

Lena Reppert was to say her final good-byes to her daughter before she made what would most likely be her last flight to her native Michigan.

But when Reppert made it to the check-in line at the Northwest Florida Regional Airport on June 18,Transportation Security Association (TSA) agents singled her out because she was in a wheelchair. Wheelchairs require other security measures to be employed since they don’t go through metal detectors.

“So they brought my mom to the side, and two agents just started patting her,” Jean Weber, her daughter was quoted as saying by FoxNews.com. “Eventually they found something that appeared to be hard they said could be a concealed weapon.”

She said two female agents wheeled her mom into a private room where they performed a more thorough inspection, and found that Reppert was wearing a Depend adult diaper.

After 45 minutes, the mother and daughter were given two options: either don’t fly, or lose the Depend. The women chose the latter.

Weber said she burst into tears during the ordeal. “I ran with her to the bathroom and stripped her down,” Weber recalled. “I got back to the line and just started bawling.”

This is not the first time that the TSA’s pat-downs of passengers have come under fire. Recently, outrage erupted over a video-recorded pat-down of a six-year-old passenger last April at New Orleans’ airport.

Indian Ambassador to the US Meera Shankar, who was clad in a sari, was pulled out from an airport security line and patted down by a TSA agent in Mississippi last year.”

While agents were busy protecting America from a diaper-clad 95-year old granny, a Nigerian man, presumably sans a diaper, was able to evade TSA as recounted in the story at reference 2:

WASHINGTON (AP) - A Nigerian man boarded a Virgin Atlantic airplane last week with an invalid boarding pass—making it through a federal security checkpoint where travelers must show identification and their boarding passes.
After the man, Olajide Olwaseun Noibi, got through security, the airline let him onto the plane even though his boarding pass was for a flight the day before, according to the FBI.

The identification check at airport security checkpoints was put in place as one of many new security measures after the 9/11 attacks. These federal document checkers have basic fraudulent identification training.

Mid-flight from New York to Los Angeles, a flight attendant noticed Noibi was sitting in a seat that was supposed to be vacant. Noibi showed the attendant the expired boarding pass that was in someone else’s name, and then showed him a University of Michigan identification card with his picture on it.

The boarding pass belonged to a man who said his boarding pass went missing from his pocket on his way to the airport June 23. Noibi boarded the plane with the expired pass the next day.

Noibi was arrested Wednesday when law enforcement officials saw him trying to board another flight and discovered he had more than 10 other expired boarding passes belonging to others in his bag.

Noibi has been charged with being a stowaway.”

Perhaps young, Nigerian males should be forced to wear diapers in order to enhance the TSA profiling process?

Does Obama really think that African-American Christians are that stupid?

African-American Christians are among the most faithful followers of Jesus Christ in the world. These good people know, with certitude, that homosexuality is a grievous sin, and as such, completely incompatible with Christianity.

President Obama has danced around the issue with platitudes and double-talk dithering meant to deceive blacks and others into believing that his attitude is "evolving," a wicked way of refusing to answer honestly and openly about a very controversial matter.

Most "real Christians" do not need to dither when it comes to gay marriage. Most will say it is written in the Bible that homosexual acts are an abomination to the Creator.

So, why the need to "evolve" a position, except for temporal, political purposes?

The Bible says it is wrong! Period, done, case closed!

Obama's actions, as opposed to his words, speak volumes about his "real" beliefs: He signed the repeal of DOMA, has appointed openly gay people to his administration, and continues to seek the support of the gay community based on a shared agenda.

Clearly, although he will not admit it, Barack Obama supports the gay agenda and that must surely include same-sex marriage.

Then again, perhaps President Obama is not REALLY a Christian?

Ding Bat Durbin Sees Illegal Alien As Future President!

Apart from the fact that he is woefully ignorant of the U.S. Constitution, Senator Durbin seems unaware of the origins of the community organizer who is currently posing as U.S. president.

As reported at the reference, the never- to- be- mistaken- for- a-Mensa member Senator from Illinois, embarrassed himself with this asinine remark intended solely to pander to Hispanic voters:

"When I look around this room, I see America's future. Our doctors, our teachers, our nurses, our engineers, our scientists, our soldiers, our Congressman, our Senators and maybe our President."

Two immediate points jump out about this incredible faux pas:

( )Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution says: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

( )Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, by electing Barack Obama as president, the U.S. has already “been there, done that” with the illegal alien nonsense.

Obviously, the "Obama experiment" has been an unmitigated disaster and should never be repeated!

Dick Durbin should read the U.S. Constitution before ceding the nation to illegal aliens!

America’s Homeland Security Boss Janet Napolitano is actually a mole working on behalf on the Mexican government, the ACLU, La Raza and other anti-American vigilante forces.

Napolitano certified her status as a Mexican mole during testimony before the U.S. Senate as reported, in part, at the reference:

"We have provided information about what it would take to do removal of everyone in the country. It's obvious that those resources aren't available, …" Napolitano said”

Earth to moon bat Napolitano: America has at least 14 million Americans out of work. Most if not all would jump at the opportunity to work on Project “Recover American Jobs from Invaders,” which would involve locating and assisting in the posthaste kicking of illegal aliens back across the U.S. border into Mexico.

There may be many others even willing to work for free, just to be a part of the effort to shout out on behalf on American sovereignty, language and culture.

Project “Recover American Jobs from Invaders,” could help reduce the massive Obama unemployment problem while saving the government scores of billions now wasted to support illegals.

A Message to the People of Mexico from the People of Texas

Our dear friends:

For some time now there has been great enmity between our peoples when we should, in fact, be close friends. This enmity was created by issues over which neither you nor we control, issues created by our respective federal governments and others who seek to rule, not govern.

We have for years attempted to solve these issues on our side of the border in a rational fashion, but those governments and other power-seekers have resisted our attempts. Therefore, we appeal directly to you.

Let us begin with history, and a misconception which has been ingrained in the consciousness of the people of Mexico by the same autocratic rulers who have kept you, our brothers and sisters, impoverished, uneducated and subservient for more than two centuries.

In 1835 our country rebelled against the dictator who had shredded the Constitution of 1824, and we declared our independence from Mexican rule. That rebellion was against a dictator and the corrupt autocrats he represented, not against the people of Mexico itself, for many of our ancestors considered themselves proud to be citizens of Mexico. Much blood was shed on both sides, but on April 21, 1836, we defeated the army of the dictator Santa Anna, who had betrayed his own people's trust, and won our independence.

For ten years after the Battle of San Jacinto, Texas sought peace with Mexico but found only enmity from a federal government which repressed its people and continued to be corrupt and authoritarian. In 1845, Texas applied for admission to the United States, and when that same federal government in Mexico City attacked the United States, Texans were again forced to take up arms against their mother country.
Historians agree that the United States should not have defeated Mexico. Mexico's armies were more numerous and better-trained than the hastily-conscripted American forces – but poor leadership and interference from aristocrats trying to profiteer from the war undermined Mexico's effort.

Three times during the War of 1846-48, the American Congress offered honorable peace terms to the Mexican Congress. Three times, those terms were rejected. It was only after American troops stormed Mexico City itself that the United States dictated a peace which included the cession of what would become the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and others. Those lands, while claimed by Mexico, were sparsely populated and the government in Mexico City exercised almost no control over them. And even then, the United States Congress tendered millions of dollars in payment for those lands, and for a second strip of disputed land several years later.

For more than 150 years, the autocrats have told the Mexican people that those lands, including Texas, were "stolen" by the United States in an imperialistic manner. The truth is, it was the autocrats of Mexico who lost those lands with their greed, their corruption and their military ineptitude. For more than 150 years, those rich aristocrats have preached the concept of "reconquista" of those territories, including Texas, to the people of Mexico when in fact their only aim has been to distract the Mexican people from the corruption, graft and greed which undermines every facet of Mexican government.

In 1973, the Ministry of the Interior issued a report which outlined the idea of "reconquista" by the waging of demographic warfare – flooding the United States' border states with Mexico's "undesirable" people, with the idea of establishing a majority in those states of Mexican citizens and having them vote to secede from the United States and re-join Mexico under the guise of fervent nationalism. Since that time, the government of Mexico has encouraged and even helped its most "undesirable" citizens – its poorest, least-educated and in some cases, most criminal – to cross the border into the United States in support of that policy.

Yet what the people of Mexico are not being told is that they are being used and manipulated. What good could come from re-gaining all those lands if the same aristocrats remain in power in Mexico City and the same corruption, graft and greed is brought across the border?
Lies have been fomented by both our national governments to undermine the fabric of both our peoples. You have been told, perhaps, that the immigration policies of the United States are unjust and unfair; yet the immigration policies of Mexico are far more restrictive. Research for yourselves, and judge.

You may have been told that the Mexican people have been "migrants" for "thousands of years" – when the truth is even before the coming of the Spanish and other Europeans, the ancient kingdoms of the Aztecs, Toltecs and others were well-ordered empires with firmly established borders, and almost no contact with the scattered tribes of natives of the desert territories which would eventually become the American Southwest.

Many of these lies have been spread by figures on the American side of the border who are part of organizations such as MEChA, La Raza and the Nation of Aztlan. They promise prosperity and greatness and cloak themselves in patriotism – yet their promises are false and their motives are the same as the aristocracy which has held Mexico back from true progress for 200 years. The socialism they embrace is the same socialism which enslaved the peoples of Russia, China, Eastern Europe and other nations for hundreds of years; they mean to set themselves up as dictators.

At the same time, there are American politicians who are equally corrupt and greedy who seek to use you for their own ends – namely, to stay in power. They, too, make false promises – that of "free" government aid programs which do nothing but slowly suck those enrolled in them into dependency on handouts, tearing down individual initiative, responsibility and motivation. They seek to use you to create a vast class of impoverished votes they can continually count on to retain their dictatorial powers.

Our brothers and sisters, we implore you to stop listening to the lies perpetrated by the aristocrats, politicians and would-be communist dictators!

Ask yourselves why you are being forced to leave your homeland to make a living for your families.

Mexico is a land of vast resources which have never been exploited. By rights, Mexico should be economically as strong, or stronger, than the United States – yet the aristocracy has resisted every attempt to improve the lives of the Mexican people through economic development. Ask yourselves why the mineral wealth of Coahuila and Chihuahua remain underground, why the schools of Mexico remain substandard and why you can earn more in one day digging a ditch in Arizona than you can in a week selling the produce from your own farm in Sonora.

Why should the people of Mexico have to fear their children being kidnapped on their way home from school, or being shot in the street in front of their home by thugs – thugs wielding guns made in Venezuela? Why can't the same government of Mexico, which is working so hard to "reconquer" lands it has no right to, protect the very people it is supposed to serve?

It is time for the people of Mexico to ask hard questions of those who govern. It is time the people of Mexico cast off the colonial rulers they were supposed to have discarded when they won independence from Spain. It is time for Mexico to assert its greatness.

The people of Texas do not hate you. We share much of our culture, heritage and history with you. You are our family – our brothers and sisters. We want to see you prosper, and grow. We will gladly help you build your home.

But you cannot have our home.

Those of you who wish to move to Texas or to other American states, we ask only that you enter our home through the front door – emigrate legally, not sneaking across the border like some thief. Learn our ways, our language and our culture, rather than trying to supplant them. Our land became great because we assimilated other cultures and took the best from each. Be one with us, not apart from us.

Its the Poor and Middle Class Who Are Ruining America!

Astounding fact: The majority of Americans pay NO income taxes whatsoever.

Nada, zero, not one damn penny!

This is the result of Democrat-sponsored exemptions, deductions, and other gimmicks which allow seniors, people in the middle class, the poor, large families, disabled and other “constituents” of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi to avoid paying their “fair share.”

Sorry, moon bats, but ZERO is not a fair share for anyone living in America!

On the other hand, left-wing crazies want to pillage and plunder the rich, that upstanding one-percent of patriotic citizens who already pay the lion’s share of taxes.

Think about it: Here America stands on the brink of financial meltdown and Democrats want to invade the pocketbooks of those overburdened, under appreciated, and abused folks referred to as the rich.

Just what sort of sense does it make to ignore the majority of people who pay no taxes, while attacking the one-percent of the population that is already paying exorbitant taxes?

The answer is, of course, no sense at all.

Except to power-mad liberals who do not give a damn about fairness or equality, but who are addicted to power.

In all comes down to votes and power. Unfortunately, there one hell of a lot more scalawags who pay no taxes than there are millionaires and billionaires!

In short, the successful and prosperous are easy targets for people like Joe Biden who believe that paying higher taxes is the “patriotic” thing to do—except when it comes to constituents of the Democrat Party!

The solution to all of America’s financial woes is to go after those folks who are not paying their “fair share,” that being the middle class, poor, and others who manage to avoid taxes altogether.

Significantly, those who pay no taxes are the same folks who knock the federal piggy bank out of whack with excessive demands on entitlement and discretionary spending.

That would be the tens of millions of people placed on the public dole by Democrats in order to purchase votes for their party.

So, you see, it is not the rich who are ruining America!

Rather it is the poor and middle class who need to clean up their acts.

America needs to rewrite the tax code so as to punish those who take but give little, or nothing, in return. A “Poverty Surcharge” would do the trick.

Here’s how it would work: Any family that earns less than $30,000 in any tax year would be assessed a Poverty Surcharge, nominally 2 % of gross income.

Another example: An unmarried woman with four children who is on welfare should be penalized for having more kids!

For each additional child she brings into the world, her monthly welfare check should be cut by 20 percent. All welfare income should be taxable, with no deductions allowed.

This would help bring down the deficit AND motivate the poor, down trodden, and irresponsible to get off their “Pity Pots.”

The new American model should be “Contribute your fair share, or perish!” and it should apply to all.

The notion that the rich should subsidize millions of slothful folk who do nothing but sit on their bottoms while watching Oprah reruns is “Old school,” immoral, and must stop!

Liberal Outrage Over Weiner Scandal: Belly Laughs Galore!

While the Anthony Weiner scandal was deadly serious and cause for grave concern, it is nonetheless hysterical to hear Democrats scream foul about morality and decency. Both subjects have all but been eliminated from the liberal vocabulary, especially since the perverted administration of Bill Clinton.

In fact, comparing the case histories of Anthony Weiner and Bill Clinton helps to place the weiner crisis in perspective.

To wit, unlike Bill Clinton, Weiner did not:

* Lie under oath about a sexual relationship with a subordinate (Monica Lewinski) on government property (The White House).

* Discuss military matters on the telephone with a member of the U.S. Congress while receiving oral sex from an intern (Monica Lewinsky) in the Oval Office.

* Leave a foreign leader (Yassar Arafat) waiting in the Rose Garden of the White House while engaging in sex with the same intern.

* Sexually assault (allegedly) a volunteer worker (Kathleen Wiley) in the White House.

* Rape (allegedly) an associate (Juanita Broderick).

Furthermore, at least Weiner had the good sense to resign, albeit with pressure from Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other feminists just now discovering the wild, wonderful world of morality!

Obviously, Clinton’s sexual transgressions have nothing to do with those of former Rep. Weiner.

But watching liberals gag on their own words while feigning outrage over the sexually explicit nature of Weiner's e-mails is the most entertaining theater seen in Washington, D.C., since Clinton’s impeachment in December of 1998!

Multiculturalism Crashes in Netherlands, Provides "Teaching Moment" for Obaama and Democrats!

As America continues to drift further and further toward the abyss of unsustainable liberalism, those who have “been there, done that” know better and are going in exactly the opposite direction.

As reported in part at the reference, the Dutch FINALLY recognize that the insanity of multiculturalism needs to be reversed:

A new integration bill which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads: "The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people. In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role. With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society."

The letter continues: "A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens. It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands. The integration will not be tailored to different groups."

The new integration policy will place more demands on immigrants. For example, immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language, and the government will take a tougher approach to immigrants to ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law.

The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner, "it is not the government's job to integrate immigrants." The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress. More specifically, the government will impose a ban on face-covering Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013.”

Imagine that! A society where no one feels at home!

Sounds eerily like California and other U.S. states inundated with millions of uneducated, non-English speaking invaders from Mexico and points south.

Been to Los Angeles or New York City lately?

The notion that "it is not the government's job to integrate immigrants," is a vital truth that is clearly lost on President Obama and Janet Napolitano and the Democrat Party!

The Dutch have also hit gold with their requirement that immigrants learn the home language and accept home land values. More truths lost on Democrats!

OMG! Are those bleeping Dutch out of their bleeping minds? What about inclusiveness, open borders, and all of the other stupidity that has America headed toward a third-world status akin to dreary old Mexico?

Clearly, the Dutch have been infested with racism and Islamaphobia!

Or, looking at it logically, the Dutch have finally seen the light and recognize that multiculturalism is a crock that serves nobody!

Democrats in America should acquaint themselves with the awful consequences of multiculturalism before pushing amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens! Do it for the citizens!

Illegal Alien Jose Antonio Vargas: Get the Hell Out, and Take Your Tainted Pulitzer Prize With You!

The story of Jose Antonio Vargas is hardly one of courage, hard work, and dedication to principle. His is NOT an American story that one can point to with pride.

Rather, it is a sad commentary about self-centered lying, deceit, and manipulation with no regard for the rule of law or other people.

It is about a nation that has lost its way and apparently no longer cares enough to enforce the rule of law, the foundation of our American Democracy.

The fact that Vargas and much of the mainstream media see his criminal behavior as justification for passing the race-based Dream Act is nearly as sick as his despicable criminality.

Jose Antonio Vargas is owed no sympathy or kudos.

He should be arrested and deported immediately, lest his persona be martyred by those who despise the rule of law, American sovereignty, language, and culture.

Secure Borders? Don't Be Naive!

Janet Napolitano is infamous for declaring that the “borders have never been more secure.” That may be the case in some isolated corner of the world, say the North Pole, but it is certainly NOT the case when it comes to the U.S.- Mexico border.

As reported in part at the reference:

A convoy of three military trucks loaded with Mexican soldiers crosses the border at Bridge Number Two clearly violating international law.

It happens as Customs and Border Protection inspectors try to figure out what to do.

A CBP spokesperson says they got on the phone with Mexican authorities after being alerted that the military trucks were heading their direction loaded down with soldiers and weapons.

Mexican leaders say the soldiers, who had just been deployed to Nuevo Laredo, didn't know the area, got lost and then made their way through Bridge Two.

It's important to note that CBP did not tell us about the potentially serious situation. It came from another law enforcement agency.

Some callers to our newsroom were upset inspectors allowed the Mexican military to get so close to all those inspection booths over at Bridge Number Two.

Some noted had it been Mexican drug lords they could have taken inspectors by surprise and easily crossed the international border deeper into the United States.”

What would Napolitano say to the idea that Mexican Drug lords were capable of invading deep into the United States?

“They are actually ‘Newly Arrived Refugees’ so let’s extend a warm American welcome along with a path to citizenship and immediate registration in the Democrat Party to these abused and misunderstood heroes!”

Greater Risk: Blowing Money in Las Vegas or Paying into Social Security-Medicare?

In February 2010, President Barack Obama advised people trying to save money not to “blow a bunch of cash in Vegas.”

That was the second time this anti-business President has seen fit to use his bully pulpit to wage war on the Las Vegas tourist industry, known affectionately all across America as Sin City.

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, fuming with rage at Obama’s intemperate remarks, summed up the president’s second faux pas thusly, "This president is a real slow learner."

Current budget battles over taxes and spending, the War Powers Act, and a host of other crises, prove that Mayor Goodman was prophetic about Obama’s learning disability!

While Obama misuses his pulpit/teleprompter to destroy the economy and jobs, there is a major economic risk that Obama and Democrats are ignoring.

Namely, anyone under 55 who is paying into the liberal-created Ponzi schemes known as Social Security and Medicare is throwing money down the toilet.

Both of these progressive mistakes are destined for bankruptcy.

The only question, really, is WHEN?

That question seems unanswerable because liberals like Obama and Harry Reid refuse to fact the facts.

Truth, as it were, is just too painful, especially so close to an national election.

“Let’s wait 20 years and see what happens,” is the counsel answer from geezers like Harry Reid who will probably be dead and buried long before the Social Security administration starts issuing monthly bills rather than benefits checks.

Obama and Reid need to read and understand the report issued by the CBO, which paints a dreary picture, indeed.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its Long-Term 2011 Budget Outlook Report, Wednesday, with dire projections for the nation’s fiscal future if the current path is not changed. The CBO called its budget outlook “daunting.”

Under current law, federal spending will continue to soar and an aging populations will increasingly draw funds from programs like Medicare and Social Security. According to the new report, in order to prevent the debt from becoming unsustainable, revenues need to increase and spending needs to be cut from projected levels.

One of the more dire figures in Wednesday’s report is the CBO’s projection that by the end of 2011, federal debt will reach approximately 70 percent of gross domestic product – the highest level it has been since the end of World War II.

The report also says that under current law, the aging population combined with rising health care costs will cause spending on health programs like Medicare, and Social Security, to rise to 15 percent of GDP in 25 years. Right now, that spending is 10 percent of GDP. To put that number in perspective, over the last 40 years, all government spending, except for interest payments on the debt, has averaged 18.5 percent of GDP.”

On the same day as the CBO report made the breaking news headlines, Harry Reid and other moon bats on the left demanded additional stimulus spending to create jobs!

Talk about “slow learners” !

Add the names of Dick Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, and all the rest on the far-left to the list of those who have learning disabilities brought on by a lifetime of deluded liberal thinking.

An urgent message to anyone under 55: Ignore the words coming from our President and Democrats. Do NOT count on living on Social Security and Medicare.

Playing the odds in Las Vegas may provide the only real hope for surviving the liberal destruction of the “America Dream.”

Winnowing Down GOP Candidates Pool—With Help from Harry Reid!

With so many vying for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, and with several more likely to still join the fray, the task of culling and selecting the best candidate to defeat Barack Obama can be daunting.

There are exceptions: Tossing out the name of Newt Gingrich is a no-brainer given recent defections by his own people, which show, convincingly, that Newt lacks the skills to run a birthday party, much less the Republican Party and, even less, all of America.

Deciding one way or the other on other contenders is far more complicated, save the most recent combatant, Jon Huntsman.

Huntsman who announced his candidacy with great flare and drama at the Statue of Liberty, immediately received an unexpected and, perhaps unwelcome, endorsement from an unlikely source: U. S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

As reported at the reference,in part, Reid’s meddling in GOP politics mixed religion and ideology:

“Hours after formally announcing his presidential bid, former ambassador to China Jon Huntsman (R) won an endorsement from an unexpected source: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).

At his weekly Capitol news conference, Reid was asked whether he thought the United States was ready for a Mormon president. Huntsman and his fellow rival for the 2012 GOP presidential nod, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, are both Mormon, as is Reid. A Gallup poll released Monday showed that 22 percent of Americans would not vote for a Mormon for president.

“I feel very comfortable that they’re not ready for – certainly they’re not ready for the former governor of Massachusetts,” Reid said. “Which says, in that race, if I had a choice, I’d favor Huntsman over Romney.”

Fortunately for all Americans and the future of our great nation, Harry Reid does NOT have a voice in deciding the Republican candidate.

At least not directly.

However, Reid’s endorsement of Huntsman proves that Huntsman is not qualified, by reason of character or ideology, to be anything more than a token Republican in the administration of Barack Obama, the most anti-American, befuddled, and inept president in U.S. history.

Hats off to the goofy Reid for unwittingly providing a terrific reason for crossing through the name of Jon Huntsman.

Republicans In Waffle Mode on Debt Ceiling?

The Republican Party is the last and only real hope that America has to reign in suicidal spending and insane debt accumulation by reckless liberals.

Raising the debt ceiling is an issue that provides the GOP with vital leverage in forcing Democrats to see sense.

However, GOP resolve on this issue appears to have developed somewhat of a crack as indicated at the story from the reference which states in part:

“WASHINGTON- Congress and the White House could raise the debt limit for a few months while they seek a comprehensive, long-term budget deal, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said on Sunday.

The Obama administration has warned it will run out of money to pay the nation's bills if Congress does not raise the $14.3 trillion debt limit by August 2 -- a prospect that could push the country back into recession and upend global financial markets.

"The president and the vice president, everybody knows you have to tackle entitlement reform," McConnell said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

"If we can't do that, then we'll probably end up with a very short-term proposal over, you know, a few months. And we'll be back having the same discussion again in the fall," McConnell said.”

With all due respect to Senator McConnell, given the history of this president and the Democrats, what in the world would cause anyone to believe that Democrats will any more open to reason a few months hence?

By agreeing to a “short-term” fix, Republicans will kick the can down the road, only to be bitten in the tush when autumn leaves start to fall and liberals remain blinded to truth.

Listen up, GOP! You have the leverage now—backing away (even slightly) will only embolden those who created the mess in the first place.

Bottom line: Deal with the debt ceiling now by demanding a dollar-for-dollar tradeoff with spending cuts.

Remember, your probation period expires in November 2012, which is only 17 months away.

Culling out Racists With Progressive Objectivity

As a point of reference, racist is formally defined as follows:

Racist - a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others.

In the on-line dictionary from which that definition was derived, the word "white" was omitted before the word "person," no doubt the product of biased editing by a red-necked scalawag from the Old South still immersed in denial.

Keeping the formal definition above in mind, compare it to the applications used by politically correct progressives, ever watchful for wedge issues with which to divide the American people.

According to progressives, you are a racist if you:

*Are on record as believing that American culture, including contributions made by angry white Christian men, has produced the greatest and most successful society in human history;

*Get goose bumps and shivers up and down your spine when Old Glory is feted or when the Star Spangled Banner is performed;

*Believe that America is a sovereign nation and, as such, perfectly justified in securing our borders against invasion by illegal aliens and other criminals;

*Believe that the rule of law is a basic tenet of American democracy, and, as such, inviolable;

*Believe that federal spending and the $14 trillion dollar national debt are destroyng the nation and agree with Paul Ryan's Blueprint for Propserity;

*Support enforcement of the Immigration Reform Control Act of 1986;

*Are proud of the English language, and support making English the official language of commerce, law, education, and culture in America;

*Oppose affirmative action, bilingualism and other reverse discrimination outrages;

*Watch FOX News for more than three hours in any given calendar quarter;

*Believe that the federal government should prevent illegal aliens from taking over American streets to demand rights and benefits reserved for U.S. citizens;

*Believe that Uncle Sam has an obligation to round up and deport illegal aliens, particularly during time of war;

*Believe that legislation is urgently needed to prevent illegal aliens from using "anchor babies" to circumvent U.S. law;

*Adamantly oppose amnesty, defined as anything short of deportation;

*Regard "Sanctuary Cities" as serious violations of federal law that should cause city officials to be arrested and prosecutedl

*Believe that in-state tuition breaks, driver's licenses, and other progressive hand outs serve only to attract even more illegal aliens and should be unlawful;

*Oppose the use of taxpayer funds to print ballots, government information, and educational materials in languages other than English;

*Own two or more American flags and participate in tawdry displays of excessive Americanism on Flag Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and other patriotic holidays;

* Have knowingly registered or, perish the thought, voted Republican within the past 50 years;

Texas Senator to Bloke Speaking Spanish: SPEAK ENGLISH!

Why is it that so many Hispanics refuse to assimilate into American culture, even refusing to speak English?

Hispanics often deny that that is the case, but as stated at the link, in part, one Texas Congressman grew very angry at one Hispanic's Spanish testimony:

State Sen. Chris Harris (R-Arlington) spoke for many Americans when he interrupted the Spanish-language testimony of a citizen of 23 years against the Sanctuary Cities ban (SB9), to say it was "insulting" for the man not to speak English. This goes right to the heart of everything that is wrong with those who advocate for illegals and La Raza. The seperatism. The sense of entitlement. The contempt for our common language that prior immigrants always hurried to adopt. God bless you Sen. Harris for speaking for all of us!"

Indeed he does. Thank you Senator Harris.

America needs to make English the official language of the nation. Period!

While America Faces Economic Chaos, Harry Reid Wants to Spend More on ILLEGALS!

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) is reputed to have been quite the pugilist is his youth. Perhaps that explains his inexplicable obsession with rewarding people who have invaded our nation with special treatment and perks?

Harry Reid, friend of millions of illegal aliens with no moral or legal basis for being here. Harry Reid, enemy of U.S. sovereignty, the rule of law, secure borders and American citizens.

Was it a right-hook to the forehead that did you in Senator? A devastating knock-out punch that caused you to become a liberal Democrat and blithering malcontent who champions illegals over American citizens?

As reported at reference 1, Senator Reid is again stoking the fire of controversy by pandering to illegal aliens, especially Hispanics, for future votes.

At a time when America is on the brink on financial crisis, what with unsustainable deficit spending, high unemployment, record levels of bankruptcy and foreclosures, and a housing market more collapsed than during the Great Depression, why in the hell in this Democrat leader working on behalf of people who do even not belong here, and who already cost American taxpayers more than $110 billion a year?

Let’s be clear: Illegal aliens are ILLEGAL. They should not be here! America owes these people nothing except a one-way ticket back to Mexico or other third-world nation of origin!

Reid’s latest punch to the groin of American citizens is in marked contrast to what Reid was saying back in 1993 when
his office released the following statements (in bold) concerning illegal immigration:

“In response to increased terrorism and abuse of social programs by aliens, (I) today introduced the first and only comprehensive immigration reform bill in Congress. Currently, an alien living illegally in the United States often pays no taxes but receives unemployment, welfare, free medical care, and other federal benefits. Recent terrorist acts, including the World Trade Center bombing, have underscored the need to keep violent criminals out of the country.”

Reid’s bill, titled the “Immigration Stabilization Act,” overhauls the nation's immigration laws, and calls for a massive scale-down of immigrants allowed into the country. The bill also changes asylum laws to prevent phony asylum seekers.

Reid said the U.S. open door policy is being abused at the expense of honest, working citizens.

The senator continued:

"We are a country founded upon fairness and justice. An individual in real threat of torture or long-term incarceration because of his or her political beliefs can still seek asylum. But this bill closes the door to those who want to abuse America's inherent generosity and legal system.”

"Our borders have overflowed with illegal immigrants placing tremendous burdens on our criminal justice system, schools and social programs. The Immigration and Naturalization Service needs the ability to step up enforcement. Our federal wallet is stretched to the limit by illegal aliens getting welfare, food stamps, medical care, and other benefits often without paying any taxes.”

“Safeguards like welfare and free medical care are in place to boost Americans in need of short-term assistance. These programs were not meant to entice freeloaders and scam artists from around the world. Even worse, Americans have seen heinous crimes committed by individuals who are here illegally.”

Specific provisions proposed by the senator in the Immigration Stabilization Act include:

* Reduces annual legal immigration levels. Relatives other than spouse or minor children admitted only if already on immigration waiting lists and their admission does not raise annual immigration levels above approved level.

* Reforms asylum rules to prevent aliens from entering the United States illegally under phony "asylum" claims.

* Expands list of felonies considered "aggravated" felonies requiring exclusion and deportation of criminal aliens. Allows courts to order deportation at time of sentencing.

* Increases penalties for failing to depart or re-entering the United States after a final order of deportation order. Increases maximum penalties for visa fraud from five years to 10 years.

* Curtails alien smuggling by authorizing interdiction and repatriation of aliens seeking to enter the United States unlawfully by sea. Increases penalties for alien smuggling.

* Adds "alien smuggling" to the list of crimes subject to sanctions under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

* Expands the categories of property that are forfeited when used to facilitate the smuggling or harboring of illegal aliens.

* Clarifies that a person born in the United States to an alien mother who is not a lawful resident is not a U.S. citizen. This will eliminate incentive for pregnant alien women to enter the United States illegally, often at risk to mother and child, for the purpose of acquiring citizenship for the child and accompanying federal financial benefits.

* Mandates that aliens who cannot demonstrably support themselves without public or private assistance are excludable. This will prevent admission of aliens likely to be dependent on public financial support. This requirement extends to the sponsor of any family sponsored immigrant.

* Increases border security and patrol officer positions."

Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.) introduced the Immigration Stabilization Act in the United States Senate in 1993. The statements quoted above are from a press release issued by Reid’s office on August 5, 1993.

How is it that Harry Reid was exactly right more than 18 years ago, but is so completely wrong now? Why does Reid oppose programs he once sponsored now that the problem is seven times greater after 9/11?

In the spring of 2006, while the U.S. Senate was debating legislation to make English the official U.S. language, Reid even saw fit to drag out the R word to slander those who supported the English bill.

And, of course, Reid has voted for Mexico and against America every time the U.S. Senate has considered amnesty.

Open Letter to Under/Unemployed Americans: Barack Obama Owes You an Apology!

Dear Fellow American Citizens:

President Barack Obama and his Democrat party colleagues in Congress owe an apology to each and every Citizen who is unable to find work or whom is working below his/her capabilities.

For in your hour of need, this Administration and Congressional Democrats are actively working against you, perhaps unwittingly, but nonetheless with devastating consequences.

Barack Obama has never had to meet a payroll in his life. He simply does not understand, or respect, the fundamentals of free enterprise.

Even worse, Obama’s arrogance and hostility toward U.S. private enterprise is unprecedented in U.S. history.

This president, as well as most Democrats, believes that government creates good-paying, secure jobs. The fact is that private enterprise, and only private enterprise, can create job opportunities.

Barack Obama’s old-school liberalism has driven him to wage war against the very people who could, if not hindered by taxes and excessive regulation, create the high-paying jobs that every talented and ambitious American citizen deserves.

His non-stop rants against business and the Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with his refusal to curb spending and face America’s debt crisis, are major reasons why business owners are reluctant to take risk and invest in new employees.

Barack Obama simply does not get it when it comes to business. In his warped way of thinking, business is bad, while greedy, corrupt labor unions are fine.

In Obama’s madness, the profit motive is always suspect. He apparently believes that government has a duty to use the tax code to “level the playing field” as it were, and to take from the “rich” in order to enrich the poor.

Barack Obama refuses to admit that government can best help the economy and the jobs situation by simply getting the hell out of the way and letting the barons of profit go to work!

Another example of Obama’s betrayal of American workers concerns his obsession on behalf of illegal aliens. Given his choice, Obama would grant amnesty to 12-20 million illegal aliens, with little or no regard for how that might impact American citizens struggling with employment issues.

Building the base of the Democrat Party by pandering to invaders who should not even be here is more important to Barack Obama than advocating of behalf of American citizens!

In 2009, Barack Obama saddled the American people with a “stimulus bill,” which cost nearly 1 trillion dollars. At the time that he signed the bill, President Obama promised that this bill would create or save 3-4 million American jobs.

Obama was so convinced that the stimulus was the right thing to do that he and fellow Democrats shoved the bill through will little or no debate. According to Obama, the economic crisis was too urgent to waste time on debate.

Three plus later, unemployment is still over 9 percent and the economy appears to be going from bad to worse, due in part to foolish spending like the stimulus bill.

Now, Obama declares that, “Recovery will take more time,” as the American people grow more and more frustrated with his failed economic policies.

Weiner’s apology to Clinton, if factual, raises the question: What the bloody hell?

For if Weiner’s apology was intended to provide the morally befuddled Congressman with a measure of repentance by admitting his transgressions to one who lives by higher spiritual values, then Weiner is even dumber than feared.

Bill Clinton, all-time Democrat champ of sexual scandal and perjury?

Apologizing to Bill Clinton for sexual sins makes as much sense as Jeffrey Dhamer apologizing to Charles Manson for Dahmer’s heinous murders and cannibalizations.

Or for Bill Clinton seeking redemption for his obsessive lying by telling all to the late Richard M. Nixon.

Or for any red-blooded American male guilty of marital infidelity and with serious money crimes in his dossier to seek the release and comfort sure to follow by crying on the shoulder of John Edwards, another tainted Democrat.

What’s the point?

Weiner’s Clinton apology proves that he is clueless about what is, and what is not, generally accepted as “decent” behavior.

There has been a recent run of great news in America’s war to end the invasion of illegal aliens, mostly from Mexico.

As reported at the link, the great state of Alabama has just enacted the toughest immigration law in America:

Republican Governor Robert Bentley on Thursday signed into law a crackdown on illegal immigration in Alabama that both supporters and critics consider the toughest in the nation.
Under the new measure, police must detain someone they suspect of being in the country illegally if the person cannot produce proper documentation when stopped for any reason.

It also will be a crime to knowingly transport or harbor someone who is in the country illegally. The law imposes penalties on businesses that knowingly employ someone without legal resident status. A company's business license could be suspended or revoked.

The law requires Alabama businesses to use a database called E-Verify to confirm the immigration status of new employees.

"We have a real problem with illegal immigration in this country," Bentley said after signing the law. "I campaigned for the toughest immigration laws and I'm proud of the Legislature for working tirelessly to create the strongest immigration bill in the country."

Alabama is the latest state to follow the lead of a controversial measure passed in Arizona last year. The courts blocked implementation of a provision allowing Arizona police to check the immigration status of people there.

But the U.S. Supreme Court recently endorsed a separate Arizona law requiring employers to use E-Verify. The court also ruled that Arizona could suspend or revoke business licenses of those companies that knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

Alabama's law is unique in requiring public schools to determine, by review of birth certificates or sworn affidavits, the legal residency status of students.

Kudos to Alabama lawmakers and governor for injecting common sense and pro-American thought into this issue!

To Texas Governor Perry: Execute Humerberto Leal Garcia as Scheduled!

Humerberto Leal Garcia is set to die in July for the murder and rape of 16-year-old Adra Sauceda in San Antonio, Texas on May 21, 1994.

Garcia is a Mexican citizen which causes dim wits like Mexican President Felipe Calderon to argue against the application of justice in Texas.

In that third-world failed state known as Mexico, the law does not allow for execution of scum bags like Humerberto Leal Garcia. Thus, Calderon and some equally insane American progressives are attempting to convince Governor Perry to at least delay justice for the brutal Garcia.

The arguments presented by those who want to spare Garcia are specious, at best, as described in part at the reference:

Mexicans on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border are protesting the upcoming execution of a criminal alien rapist and murderer scheduled for July 7, 2011, in Texas.

Because the convicted killer is a Mexican citizen, the Calderon government is questioning the procedures that were utilized in sentencing the death row prisoner, Humberto Leal Garcia. The Mexican ambassador to the United States requested this week that Texas Governor Rick Perry delay the execution until a review is completed of the sentencing procedures.

The 38-year old Garcia faces the death penalty for the rape and murder of 16-year-old Adra Sauceda in San Antonio, Texas on May 21, 1994 . Besides Garcia, 50 other Mexicans are sitting on death rows in the U.S.

Mexico’s legal system prohibits capital punishment and a treaty with the United States forbids Mexican authorities from extraditing criminals to the United States who face the death penalty if tried in states that utilize some method of execution.

However, a 2008 U.S. Supreme Court decision stipulates that the legal support of a foreign government—or governments—is not required in deciding whether to execute a foreign national convicted of a capital offense. The 6-3 majority ruled that state court judges are given the discretion to decide how a sentence is carried out.

That high court decision cleared the way for Texas to execute Mexican citizen Jose Ernesto Medellin by lethal injection in 2008.”

Two obvious rebuttal arguments jump out against those who oppose sending Garcia to his just rewards in July:

To begin with, this is America, despite the way Mexicans on both sides of the matter view the matter. Again, this is not the failed state of Mexico where drug cartels and murderers run the nation.

This is America and Mexican law, as well as other international law, can go straight to hell!

Secondly, the murder-rape took place 17 years ago! Plenty of time for ding-bat Mexicans to “review” the procedures.

Governor Perry must allow the legal system to move forward as scheduled rather than being distracted just because a vile killer-rapist is a Mexican!

Bottom Line: Humerberto Leal Garcia deserves to die for his awful crimes. Bring out the needles and drugs and bid this thug adios, once and for all!

The next time Barack Obama, Harry Reid, or Charles Schumer warns against “extreme” measures proposed by the GOP to deal with the spending-debt crisis, remind him of the following, as reported as the reference, in part:

“The federal government's financial condition deteriorated rapidly last year, far beyond the $1.5 trillion in new debt taken on to finance the budget deficit, a USA TODAY analysis shows.

The government added $5.3 trillion in new financial obligations in 2010, largely for retirement programs such as Medicare and Social Security. That brings to a record $61.6 trillion the total of financial promises not paid for.

This gap between spending commitments and revenue last year equals more than one-third of the nation's gross domestic product.

Medicare alone took on $1.8 trillion in new liabilities, more than the record deficit prompting heated debate between Congress and the White House over lifting the debt ceiling.

Social Security added $1.4 trillion in obligations, partly reflecting longer life expectancies. Federal and military retirement programs added more to the financial hole, too.
Corporations would be required to count these new liabilities when they are taken on — and report a big loss to shareholders. Unlike businesses, however, Congress postpones recording spending commitments until it writes a check.

The $61.6 trillion in non-funded obligations amounts to $527,000 per household. “

Anthony Weiner Is Unfit to Serve in the U.S. Congress!

In addressing “Weinergate,” Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the DNC said, “I think Anthony Weiner is dealing with a personal matter and that’s where it should be left.”

That myopic view might make sense if Weiner was employed in a menial calling involving little or no public responsibility.

However, Anthony Weiner is NOT working in a menial job, not yet, that is.

Rather, Weiner has been elected to serve the people of New York as a member of the United States Congress.

Serving in the “People’s House” is a major honor for those selected, but it involves responsibility for deciding on major issues facing the nation.

Issues such as whether or not to declare war, whether or not to adopt ObamaCare, how best to reduce the soaring deficit, and other vital matters facing Americans.

In other words, being a member of Congress requires sound JUDGEMENT.

When politicians run for high political office, the voting public assumes that the candidate will exercise mature, wise and prudent judgement.

Listening to Anthony Weiner sob his way through his second mental breakdown in less than one week, one was struck by his immaturity, lack of wisdom, and imprudent judgement.

One would expect an immature ten-year-old boy just discovering the wonders of sex to photograph his own genitalia, to Twitter said photo throughout cyberspace, and to engage in lust-laden e-mails and phone conversations on Facebook and other social networks.

But a sitting member of the U.S. House of Representatives who also just happens to be married?

Even lefty partisans like Wasserman Schultz must find such behavior bizarre and outrageous. Intoleraable!

In the coming ethics investigation, Congressional leaders must demand an answer to the following question:

Why in the hell did Anthony Weiner find it necessary to wander throughout cyberspace for sexual adventure when he is married to a drop-dead beautiful, well educated and sophisticated young lady waiting for him at home?

Are there other deep, dark psychological problems haunting Weiner?

Regardless of the exact details, Anthony Weiner is not fit to serve in the United States Congress.

After several days of “Weinergate” drama, the U.S. Congressman who claimed that the release of a lewd photo from his Twitter account was an obvious “hack” job, has finally admitted what was perfectly obvious to everyone else in the world: The entire episode was conceived and executed by Anthony Weiner himself.

That is right, the same left-wing nut ball who fancies himself a suitable person to preside over the city of New York and its 14 million inhabitants.

Embattled Rep. Anthony Weiner admitted to posting lewd photos of himself on Twitter at a Monday afternoon press conference.

While addressing the media at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, Weiner made the following statement:

“Last Friday night I tweeted a photograph of myself that I intended to send as direct message as part of a joke to a woman in Seattle. Once I realized I posted it to Twitter, I panicked, I took it down and said that I had been hacked. I then continued with that story to stick to that story which was a hugely regrettable mistake.”

Weiner apologized to the Seattle student, who was on the receiving end of the tweet. “To be clear, the picture was of me and I sent it. I am deeply sorry for the pain this has caused my wife Huma and our family, and my constituents, my friends, supporters and staff,” Weiner said.
In addition, the congressman said that “over the past few years I have engaged in several inappropriate conversations conducted over Twitter, Facebook, email, and occasionally on the phone with women I have met online.”

Weiner said he “exchanged messages and photos of an explicit nature with about six women over the last three years.” He said “most” of the communications took place before his marriage, but admitted some took place afterward.

Weiner also said he would not resign and that he did not believe that he did anything that broke the law. Weiner said it was a mistake but that he was trying to protect his wife.

“This was a mistake and I am very sorry for it and take it very seriously,” he said.

When asked if he would split from his wife, Weiner said he loved his wife very much and that they would not split.”

Hold on there, Weiner! When it comes to Huma, why not let the Lady speak for herself? With her drop-dead beauty and connections, surely she can do better than being manacled to a 46-year-old going on 12?

Furthermore, Weiner claims that all of his sexual communiqués were with adult women, those over 18, although he admits that it is conceivable that some of his tweets were with ladies who “fibbed” about their age.

Hmm. Surely law enforcement will check that all out and advise the beleaguered if criminal culpability exists—right?

Indeed, despite howls of anguish from the Left, it does not appear as though “Weinergate” will Peter-out any time soon. In the parlance of the media, the story has “legs,” to say nothing of other body parts also making headlines on a daily basis.

In an ominous sign that the bombastic little weenie is in deep doo-doo, entirely of his own making, powerful elitists from the Intellectual Left have circled the wagons around their beloved pervert.

Among the high-profile Loon-iares who have rushed to defend Weiner are Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Charles Schumer, and the most comical of all, the amazing Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chairwoman of the DNC, who added depth with this brilliant analysis:

“I think Anthony Weiner is dealing with a personal matter and that’s where it should be left.”

Hmmm. Just a personal matter between Weiner and 45,000 of his closest, most trusted Twitter pals, huh? And a young college student in Washington state?

The Wasserman Schultz blahering bears an eerie resemblance to the specious double-talk issued by the Left when President Bill Clinton perjured himself about his sexual affair with Monica Lewinsky.

It is all about “Consensual Sex” they ranted, ignoring the fact that Slick Willie was guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice, serious crimes even when just about sex.

As luck would have it, Weiner’s need for divine intervention just happens to correspond quite nicely with Barack Obama’s desperate need for a post-Osama “bounce” in light of the dreadful employment numbers, crumbling economy, declining dollar, and other devastating impact of Obamanomics.

After flaking out on Israel so miserably recently, Obama also needs to mend fences with the Jewish community.

What better way to do that than by officially pardoning the weiner Weiner, one of the most prominent Jews in American politics?

Obama can add to his mending fences initiative by appointing Weiner to represent the U.S. government in opposing San Francisco’s insane anti-circumcision measure that voters will vote on this Fall.

After all, the measure is an unconstitutional, anti-Semitic usurping of federal responsibility because it involves “Tampering with the U.S. male,” a real no-no.

The bottom line: Obama should pardon Weiner, Wasserman Shultz should stuff a sock in her silly mouth, and San Francisco should be ceded to Russia and/or China!

And most importantly, this burning question must be answered: Is Anthony Weiner gay?

Left Uses "Slick Wille" Defense to Argue for John Edwards

With the indictment of former Presidential Candidate John Edwards—A DEMOCRAT, by the way-- on six felony counts, left-wing moon bats immediately started a campaign to accuse prosecutors of “over reaching.”

According to the Left, Edwards is the VICTIM, whose only transgression was to engage in “consensual sex” outside of his marriage to Elizabeth, his now-deceased spouse.

Does that “its only about sex” defense ring a bell?

It should because in 1998, Slick Willie, also known at the time as President Bill Clinton, was involved in a secret tryst with Monica Lewinsky, said affair taking place in the very bowels of the White House.

After wagging his finger in the face of the world while angrily insisting “I did not have sex with that woman…Ms. Lewinski,” Slick was proven to be a perjurer as a result of tapes maintained by great American patriot Linda Tripp.

In time, Slick was impeached (but not prosecuted) for perjury. He was also banned from arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Throughout the Slick Willie debauchery, leftists argued that the affair did not rise to the level of a crime, much less an impeachable one, because it was only about sex, and consensual at that.

Apparently, perjury is perfectly OK with the left provided the lie is about sex. And, provided the perjurer is a liberal Democrat.

So it is with John Edwards. Once again, the left drags out the Slick Willie card to defend an immoral and reckless crime.

By the way, did I mention that Edwards, like Clinton and Antonio Weiner, is A DEMOCRAT?

Liberals hiding behind such Tom Foolery have a HUGE problem. Namely, the Edwards indictment comes under the reign of a Democrat president and Attorney General, and by a State Attorney General in North Carolina who is also a Democrat!

President Obama continues to ignore the rule of law while making a mockery of the U.S. Constitution. His latest offense involves disregard for the War Powers Act with respect to Obama's war in Libya.

This transgression makes clear the president's cynical mindset.

Namely, If the law or resolution conflicts with Obama’s leftist agenda or reelection strategy, he simply ignores the offending law or resolution.

However, in a promising sign that cajoles may be making a comeback in American politics, the U.S. House delivered a message to Obama reminding him that the President, regardless of how precocious, is obligated to follow the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution.

As reported at the reference, in part, the House took Obama to the wood shed a delivered a much-needed upbraidng to our wayward president:

Crossing party lines to deliver a stunning rebuke to the commander in chief, the vast majority of the House voted Friday for resolutions telling President Obama he has broken the constitutional chain of authority by committing U.S. troops to the international military mission in Libya.

In two votes — on competing resolutions that amounted to legislative lectures of Mr. Obama — Congress escalated the brewing constitutional clash over whether he ignored the founding document’s grant of war powers by sending U.S. troops to aid in enforcing a no-fly zone and naval blockade of Libya.

The resolutions were non-binding, and only one of them passed, but taken together, roughly three-quarters of the House voted to put Mr. Obama on notice that he must explain himself or else face future consequences, possibly including having funds for the war cut off.

What rich irony! The recipient of the most fraudulent Nobel Peace award in history is chastened by the U.S. Congress, including Democrats, for violating U.S. law pertaining to war.

Over the past two years, President Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden have repeatedly stated that “We are headed in the right direction,” in trying to comfort the American people about the dreadful economy.

That line of bologna is growing very old, especially in light of the most recent jobs report for May summarized at the reference in part:

WASHINGTON — American employers hired only 54,000 new workers in May, the fewest in eight months, and the unemployment rate rose to 9.1 percent.

The Labor Department report offered startling evidence that the U.S. economy is slowing, hampered by high gas prices and natural disasters in Japan that have hurt U.S. manufacturers.

The pace of hiring has weakened dramatically from the previous three months, when the economy added an average of 220,000 new jobs. Private companies hired only 83,000 new workers in May — the fewest in nearly a year.”

Clearly, the Obama administration cannot be blamed for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami; however, when it comes to gasoline prices, liberals, including Obama, have done everything possible to obstruct this nation’s efforts to achieve energy independence and increase fuel supply which would lower prices.

Unfortunately, environmental extremism has always been more important to liberals than implementing reasonable energy policies.

Pity poor President Obama! This far into his term, blaming former President Bush for the dreadful economy would be a most difficult sell—even to fellow liberals.

The question of the moment:

Still, the very liberal Democrat Representative from New York appears to be hiding something from the media and the public related to a lewd photo sent from his Tweeter account.

How else to explain the fact that Weiner has refused to answer definitely YES or NO when asked if the controversial photo is, in fact, of himself?

Which leads to an immediate follow-up: How can there be any doubt one way or the other? Did you or any other party take a photo of your penis?

Then there is Weiner’s unfathomable reluctance to get the FBI or other law enforcement involved. Remember, we are talking about a sitting member of the U.S. House being stripped of the dignity to which he is entitled as an elected member of Congress.

Why not demand a complete FBI investigation to get to the bottom of the matter and (hopefully) drive a perverted hacker out of business?

Or is Weiner afraid to let the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth emerge because he is up to his knickers in salacious behavior best not made public?

Then again, perhaps the entire matter is much ado about nothing?

Forget Double-Dip Recession: America May Be Facing Great DEPRESSION!

While Barack Obama and fellow Marxists dream on about a “Summer of Recovery,” the cold, hard facts paint a far less rosy picture for the American economy.

In fact, rather than a double-dip recession which had Obamamites scared witless what with elections just around the corner, there is a growing fear that huge federal deficits, reckless and irresponsible spending, and other fiduciary malpractice committed by liberals may lead to much, much worse trouble.

“Wall Street is having a hard time figuring out what to do now that the U.S. economy appears to be sputtering and yields are so low, Peter Yastrow, market strategist for Yastrow Origer, told CNBC.

"What we’ve got right now is almost near panic going on with money managers and people who are responsible for money," he said. "They can not find a yield and you just don’t want to be putting your money into commodities or things that are punts that might work out or they might not depending on what happens with the economy.

"We need to find real yield and real returns on these assets. You see bad data, you see Treasurys rally, you see all bonds and all fixed-income rally and then the people who are betting against the U.S. economy start getting bearish on stocks. That’s a huge mistake."

Stocks extended losses after the manufacturing fell below expectations in May and the private sector added only 38,000 jobs during the month.

"Interest rates are amazingly low and that, thanks to Ben Bernanke, is driving everything," Yastrow said. "We’re on the verge of a great, great depression. The [Federal Reserve] knows it.”

Amazingly enough, while the financial news keeps getting worse, liberals like Obama, Harry Reid,Nancy Pelosi and others remain in denial and continue to call for increasing the debt ceiling while spending more.

What will it take to convince the Left that the policies pushed by Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are the cause, at least partially, of the problem rather than the solution?

Why Does the Word “Illegal” Baffle & Befuddle Liberals So Completely?

When it comes to discussions about immigration, liberals are universally loathe to use the word “illegal” to identify foreigners whom have violated our borders and immigration laws and are residing here unlawfully.

Rather, liberals, including the mainstream media, try to apply “lipstick to a pig,” as it were, by calling illegal aliens “undocumented” this or that.

The left seems to be operating under the misguided notion that “illegal alien” is a derisive term invented by white Republicans to humiliate brown people who fail to cross all the Ts while migrating north.

According to liberals, not having all the required documentation is but a minor oversight, not worth fretting,

In fact, however, “illegal alien” is a formal term defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), which was enacted in 1986 and which supposed was to put an end to illegal immigration once and for all.

Unfortunately, IRCA was never enforced and, as a result, 25 years later America is overwhelmed with an additional 12-25 million illegal aliens. The number may be even be larger. Perhaps MUCH larger.

Sadly, liberals see illegal aliens as a veritable gold mine of potential voters who could elect progressives to power as long as the goodies continued to be doled out.

President Obama has made a number of attempts to push Comprehensive Immigration Reform (Amnesty in plain English!) into law, even arguing that America owes amnesty and a path to citizenship to “illegal aliens who are law-abiding.”

“Illegal aliens” and “law abiding” do not seem compatible at first blush, but the liberal lust for power can easily overlook a bit of goofy syntax for the sake of securing 20 million or so additional Democrat voters!

Further, the notion that America owes anything to those who have come here illegally is pure, unmitigated bunk!

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano set the tone for muddled thinking two years ago when she dropped the volatile, but factually correct, “illegal alien” term with the dreadful double talk, “Newly Arrived Refugees”!

And now Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), joins the fray on behalf of illegal aliens by pummeling Republicans for Equating “Illegal” With Crime.

Specifically, the Florida Democrat denounced Republicans for believing illegal immigration “should in fact be a crime,” adding “I think the president was clearly articulating that his position--the Democratic position--is that we need comprehensive immigration reform,” said Wasserman Schultz at a Christian Science Monitor Breakfast on May 26.

Migrating to America (legally) is, and should be, a long, drawn-out procedure meant to protect the interests of American citizens. It involves more than simply jumping a fence and heading north in pursuit of free health care, education, food stamps and other handouts paid for by U.S. taxpayers.

Legal immigration means enduring rigorous hurdles like background checks to detect a criminal background or possible ties to terrorists.

It means medical examinations to detect diseases still prevalent in third-world nations, but long since eradicated here, and

It means proof of financial solvency so as to prevent newcomers from becoming a burden on U.S. taxpayers.

Those who have jumped the fence into America in order to avoid our immigration checks are not immigrants.

In truth, people who come here illegally leave America vulnerable to undetected crime, terrorism, disease, and financial devastation. And they have no legal or moral justification for being here.

Why engage in silly word games and euphemistic cover-ups?

People here illegally are illegal aliens and need to leave ASAP.

A Reasonable Immigration Reform Plan

Mr. President, Honorable Members of Congress:

Because our government has refused to secure America's borders and enforce the law, our nation is struggling to deal with tens of millions of illegal aliens who have entered this great nation unlawfully.

Many are good-hearted, hard working folks, simply looking for a better life.

However, that description also applies to scores of millions of others throughout the world, just as eager, and just as deserving, for a chance at the American Dream.

But while America is overwhelmed with illegal aliens who have willfully violated our borders and laws, people in other parts of the world are ordered to stand in line, wait their turn, and do that which is required for legal immigration.

We tell such hopefuls that America operates in accordance with the rule of law, and that their immigration wishes must be handled fairly, according to law.

Many of those waiting in line are highly educated and well trained.

Unfortunately, the same can not be said for most illegal aliens currently in America.

Predominately from third-world Latin nations, they are typically non-English speaking, unskilled and poor. Such people impose extraordinary burdens on our all-ready stressed education, health care, and legal systems, and cost American taxpayers more than $110 billion each year.

In addition, while young American men and women are sent to serve in harm's way in Afghanistan and Iraq, our own borders remain unsecured, making America vulnerable to further terrorist attacks.

Failure to secure the home front during time of war can only be seen as a mockery of the American lives and treasury sacrificed to secure freedom in foreign lands 10,000 miles from home.

Americans are well aware of the fact that immigration is the subject of intense debate in the hallowed halls of congress. We also hear that some legislative proposals would actually forgive those who have broken into America in defiance of our borders and laws.

In Washington parlance, the euphemism is "Guest Worker" Program.

Guest worker is understood by everyone to be "amnesty," and is totally unacceptable to a large majority of the American people.

To reward those who are here illegally would only serve to invite another 30 million or so to invade, and would be an unmitigated outrage.

At some point, our government (you) must decide that America is a sovereign nation with borders and laws that really mean something.

Again: Guest worker is amnesty and is totally unacceptable.

A sensible approach to immigration reform should incorporate the ideas offered below:

Employers Must Be Forced to Follow the Law

Businesses that employ illegal aliens represent a major threat to U.S. homeland security and the war on terror. Such businesses must be punished to the full extent of the law, including severe criminal sanctions against management.

Deportations Essential

America can no longer tolerate a policy whereby the immigrant decides unilaterally to invade America---and gets away with it!

The U.S. government must have total control over who enters the nation, where they will reside, for what purpose authorized, and date by which that individual must leave.

No reform scenario should sanction illegals currently here. Intelligent reform should require that every illegal alien be deported.

Use Military Force to Secure Borders

Our borders must be secured by sufficient military troops and or national guardsmen authorized to use force as needed to prevent illegal entry into the U.S.

Temporary Work Permit (TWP)

A worker in a foreign nation wishing to APPLY for a TWP should be allowed to do so, PROVIDED he/she has not been in America unlawfully within the last five years.

Other conditions:

An American employer seeking services from a foreign worker should, in effect, sponsor the worker. That means assuring there is NO burden to the community by way of health care costs,
education, crime, and the like.

Employers may chose to form cooperatives to purchase health insurance at group rates. However, any and all costs of such coverage should be absorbed by employers, not taxpayers.

A TWP should authorize a term of not greater than 18 months, and pertain only to the worker.(A worker's family could cost U.S. taxpayers substantially for health care, educational and
legal services systems, thereby mitigating any benefit realized by employing the worker.)

No worker on a TWP must be allowed to parent an “anchor baby." Existing U.S. laws conferring citizenship on those born to illegal aliens must be changed, retroactively.

Criminal behavior of any sort, even a misdemeanor, should require immediate deportation of the worker.

All of the worker's income should be subject to tax withholding according to procedures administered by employers.

The worker should acknowledge, in writing, his/her understanding and agreement that the TWP has a limited, non-extendable term, and that it confers no other benefits such as driver’s license, social welfare, in-state tuition breaks, or citizenship.

Employers must assure that the worker leaves the U.S. before expiration of the TWP. Any violations should cause the employer to be severely punished.

The labor needs of American business can be satisfied without jeopardizing homeland security or the economic and cultural stability of the American people.

However, we must secure the borders permanently, force employers to obey the law, deport those here illegally, and stop making it so easy and attractive for illegal immigrants to invade America.

Any amnesty or "guest worker" proposal is NOT an acceptable alternative.

A fellow blogger has cluttered cyberspace with views contrary to mine on the subject of illegal aliens.

His articles are immediately recognizable because he uses Barbara Streisand as his spell check guru. With predicttabkle reessultgs!

This old man, who shall remain unnamed, has pontificated on and on about what Native American Indians faced when the pilgrims invaded Plymouth Rock in the 1600s. His blathering can be modestly entertaining, unless one has a radio, a telephone, or indoor plumbing.

In the interest of spreading truth and wisdom, I often try to remind this misinformed codger that we are living in 2011, not 1607, and that America is not an unsettled continent.

Furthermore, the United States has absolutely no obligation to honor any psychotic notions that illegal aliens may have concerning their Manifest Destiny or retaking (Reconquesta) of the American Southwest.

The realities of 2011 are quite clear: America is a sovereign nation with defined, established borders. We operate under the rule of law, including procedures that those who wish to migrate here must follow.

Americans welcome newcomers with open arms, provided that those who wish to join us do so in a logical, orderly and lawful manner, AND provided that the aspiring residents will make America better.

Invading across our borders illegally, ignoring our laws, stealing public services, refusing to learn English, and demanding immediate access to the American Dream are not traits one would expect to find in those who would improve America.

This is true whether one is brown, black, yellow, lily-white, red, or an exotic hybrid of lavender and green.

That is the way immigration works in 2011, and it is not open to negotiation just because one can operate a leaf blower or clean toilets.

The United States is hardly alone in this civilized approach to borders and immigration laws. Indeed, I suggest that my “open borders” opponent try to sneak into Mexico illegally, and see how tolerant Mexicans are when it comes to illegal aliens.

In addition, although I can not be certain, my guess is that if this was 1607, Native Americans would not look kindly on 12-38 million illegal aliens invading their land and otherwise plundering their assets.

My blogging buddy also advocates a form of amnesty so that we can secure the borders and move on. In other words, this is last 38 million to get amnesty!

In 1986, the U.S. tried that approach. About three million illegal aliens were granted amnesty and tough new laws were codified to prevent future invasions.

Now, 12-38 million illegal aliens later, we have the same problem, but much larger and, because of the threat of terrorism, far more dangerous.

Amnesty will never work, because it is serves as an incentive to those still in Mexico.

The 1986 experience proves that we need militarized borders and merciless enforcement of our laws, including mass deportations.

But perhaps my cyberspace competitor is too old to remember 1986?

To Mexican President Calderon: Can You Hear Us Now?

May 19, 2010 will surely be remembered as one of the saddest, most tragic days in American history.

For on that dreary spring day, a foreign leader stood before a Joint Session of the U.S. Congress in Washington, D.C., and denounced the sovereign state of Arizona for passing legislation which provides law enforcement officials with the tools needed to protect Arizona and her citizens from illegal invaders from the failed, third-world state of Mexico, and other nations more southerly.

Even more astounding: Mexican President Calderon’s condemnation of American politicians was greeted with cheers and standing ovations from every Democrat member of Congress in attendance on that awful day more than a year ago.

Has there ever been a more despicable, traitorous act perpetrated on American soil by Americans elected to high public office?

Since then, the American people have jettisoned 66 Democrats into involuntary retirement, replacing them with patriots more concerned with the future of America than with using U.S. citizenship to buy party affiliation and political power.

While the final fate of Arizona SB 1070 is yet to be adjudicated, on May 25 the U.S. Supreme Court delivered a serious blow to the aspirations of Democrats and others, foreign and domestic, who would ignore border security and enforcement of immigration law.

In ruling on behalf of Arizona and against the Obama Administration and other anti-rule of law, open borders advocates, the Supreme Court upheld an Arizona law that penalizes businesses for hiring workers in the country illegally.

This victory is seen as a sign that the court is likely to ultimately approve SB-1070 which will inspire states all across America to follow Arizona’s lead.

The court’s ruling also affirms that individual states have legitimate rights when it comes to protecting citizens against foreign invaders.

All of which portends good things to come and a glimmer of hope that the invasion of America can be dealt with in an intelligent, reasonable manner consistent with the interests of America and Americans.

It should also serve as a wake-up call to Mexico and the likes of Felipe Calderon. Namely, Can You Hear Us Now?

In a huge victory for the rule of law, good old-fashioned common sense, and American citizens, the Supreme Court sided with Arizona in its effort to prevent and reverse illegal invasions from south of our borders.

As reported at the reference, in part:

“PHOENIX – The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld an Arizona law that penalizes businesses for hiring workers in the country illegally, buoying the hopes of supporters of state crackdowns on illegal immigration.

They predicted the ruling would lead to many other states passing laws that require employers to use the federal E-Verify system to check that workers aren't illegal immigrants. And some said the ruling bodes well for the prospects of a much broader and more controversial immigration law in Arizona, known as SB1070, to be found constitutional.”

This ruling should also inspire other states in the union to pass laws similar to Arizona’s SB-1070 and should motivate California to revive Proposition 187, a measure that would have restricted payment of benefits to illegals. That bill passed by a 2-1 margin in 1994, but was torpedoed by liberal judges and Democrat politicians.

Could this ruling be the turning point in the war against the illegal invasion of America by tens of millions of uneducated, non-English speaking foreign squatters?

Does the ruling provide a glimmer of hope for thwarting the tsunamia of unskilled invaders who cost American taxpayers $113 billion a year?

Perhaps states will now be motivated to do what is in the best interests of American citizens, rather than being bullied by the ACLU and liberal Democrats, none of whom care not one whit about American sovereignty, language, and culture.

If so, then Bravo! It is indeed a new day in America!

Obama to Call for Return of U.S. –Mexico Borders to 1843?

Now that he has the middle east and most of the world aflame in bitter debate over changing Israel’s borders to what they were in 1967, how soon will it be before President Obama seeks to redraw the U.S. borders to reflect conditions that existed prior to the U.S. –Mexico war of 1845?

To do so would be consistent with Obama’s passion for whittling away at American dominance and superiority. It would also help bring the Hispanic demographic back to heel in time for the 2012 elections.

Of course, Obama would have to ignore the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, signed on February 2, 1848, which ended the war and gave the U.S. undisputed control of Texas, established the U.S.-Mexican border of the Rio Grande River, and ceded to the United States the present-day states of California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, most of Arizona and Colorado, and parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wyoming.

In ignoring the Treaty, Obama would find solace with millions of Mexican politicians and citizens who continue to insist that the land covered in the treaty remains a part of Mexico.

Such people use that specious argument to justify the current invasion of America by non-English speaking aliens who come here, illegally, for jobs, welfare, food stamps, free education and health care, and the like, all of which costs taxpayers more than $110 billion every year!.

After more than two years in office, Obama has demonstrated a remarkable ability to blatantly ignore the rule of law and cultural traditions that have made America great.

Thus, ignoring the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo should be a piece of cake for our rule-of- law- adverse chief!

Wrong-minded progressive policies have, over the years, produced a devastating impact in the areas of education, homeland security, financial solvency, health care, housing, election integrity, and public safety throughout our once great nation.

No where has the ruin been more dramatic than in the state of California, whittled down to a pauper state, not much better than that third-world failed state just south of its border.

In particular, the manner by which illegal immigration and the death penalty have been administered at the federal and state levels have left California in a perpetual state of financial emergency and social distress.

Now, California’s “chickens are coming home to roost” in a most disturbing fashion as reported at the reference, in part:

“WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ordered California on Monday to release tens of thousands of its prisoners to relieve overcrowding, saying that "needless suffering and death" had resulted from putting too many inmates into facilities that cannot hold them in decent conditions.

It is one of the largest prison release orders in the nation's history, and it sharply split the high court.

Justices upheld an order from a three-judge panel in California that called for releasing 38,000 to 46,000 prisoners. Since then, the state has transferred about 9,000 state inmates to county jails. As a result, the total prison population is now about 32,000 more than the capacity limit set by the panel.”

Approximately 30 percent of California’s inmate population--about 46,000 wayward souls-- are illegal aliens, thugs with no business being here in the first place, a situation aggravated considerably by murder, bank robbery, and rape in many cases.

Will those responsible for carrying out the orders from Supreme Court take action to deport illegal aliens to Mexico, Guatemala and other nations of origin?

Or will the ACLU and other anti-American loons argue that it would be unfair to deport illegals and that said felons should be released in California, without regard to the safety and security of innocent citizens?

Adding to California’s misery is the fact that leftist activist judges have essentially shut down the execution of justice (pun intended!) by holding the death penalty hostage to naive concerns about how much “pain” is involved in lethal injections including the drugs used.

To begin with, the death penalty is supposed to be painful! For goodness sakes, the objective is to kill a person against his or her will--a situation that will almost always involve pain-—which is as it should be.

Besides, how much “pain” can be really involved in a process no more violent than getting a flu shot? In fact, lethal injection produces inadequate pain to atone for the violent, ruthless behavior of many of those convicted of capital crimes..

The solution?

Those inmates sentenced to die at the hands of the law should be given five years maximum to file appeals and for the system to adjudicate said appeals. After that, executions should be carried out as soon as possible.

Let the ruin of California serve as a warning to all Americans: Progressive policies can not be implemented without destroying civilized society.

A hat tip to Doug Patton of the Canada Free Press for his outstanding “Can We Trade Barack for Bibi?” offer, see reference 1.

While Mr. Patton is certainly thinking outside the box and in the best interests of America, I fear that the Israelis may not nibble at the bait.

They ARE Jews after all, which means they are seldom cheated or outsmarted when it comes to trade or barter.

To head off an inevitable rejection, I would like to add a few concessions to the pot so as to entice Israel toward making a deal.

My terms:

In addition to Barack, America agrees to the unconditional transfer of Senators Schumer, Boxer, Feinstein, Reid, Kerry, Graham (R-SC), Murray, and Durbin to the Israeli government.

Further, America accepts full responsibility for any and all pensions, salaries, bribes, and corruption fees, including criminal attorney charges, as may be owed by said senators.

In order to facilitate peace in the middle-east, America further agrees to grant that mythical entity known as Palestine the following sovereign U.S. States in a historic “Land for Peace” deal:

California, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and all other blue states where the number of citizens identifying themselves as “liberal” exceeds ten percent of the total population.

This “Land for Peace” accord indemnifies the American government from any and all disputes between the Palestinians and illegal invaders from south of our borders. All such disputes shall be resolved by the disputing parties using whatever legal, financial, and language resources at their disposal.

This Agreement is NOT subject to any Signing Statement, Executive Order, or other foolish device for circumventing the U.S. Constitution.

Most importantly, this accord shall include a specific “NO Right of Return” provision.

There you have it. The amended offer to the good people of Israel and their tormentors in Palestine for the exchange of land and politicians that should bring long-sought peace to the region.

With the nation, his presidency, and the American democracy in shambles, is it not time for Barack Hussein Obama to face reality and spare the nation yet another two years of grief?

From out-of -control spending resulting in trillions of dollars added to the deficit,to Marxist programs repulsive to most Americans, to soaring unemployment, to programs that promote class and racial warfare, to complete abandonment of border security and immigration law enforcement, and to inept and naive mismanagement of foreign affairs, Barack Obama has done enough damage to America.

Unfortunately, this human wrecking ball with a degree from Harvard and a questionable birth certificate from Hawaii has the legal right to stay in office for another two years.

However, common sense compels one to shout, “Enough is enough!”

Barack Obama has lost his good sense. He can no longer be trusted with national security or important functions that require mature judgment. He has zero credibility with the public, Congress and the world.

Barack Obama needs to leave Washington, D.C. as soon as possible. Waikiki Beach is calling and Barack Obama is urgently needed there.

Learning from History:

In 1974, America was confronted with a rascal in the White House by the name of Richard M. Nixon. Unfortunately, Nixon was a despicable crook.
But in 1974, the Republican Party was blessed to have a few leaders with cajoles and a passion for America. Those noble Republicans walked into the White House at an appropriate time and let Nixon know that his time had elapsed and that, in the interests of the nation and himself, it was time to go.

To his credit, Richard M. Nixon did the honorable thing by resigning the presidency. On August 9, 1974, President Nixon boarded an Air Force helicopter on the lawn of the White House and made his way home to California.

America was grateful for the fact that our “national nightmare was over” and the healing process began immediately!

As if the unseemly process involved in ramming ObamaCare through Congress despite the wishes of the American people was not bad enough, it turns out that the Marxist scheme is so flawed that it was necessary to issue more than 2,000 waivers to avoid even greater disaster.

Remember, this is Obama’s Signature Legislation, which was supposed to add 30 million people to the insured while reducing overall health care costs.

With that outrageous, illogical assumption as its base, it should come as no surprise that ObamaCare is so unwieldy that hundreds of businesses simply cannot implement the Marxist fairy tale.

Thus, the creation of Obama’s waiver-granting bureaucracy to dole out life jackets for businesses that would otherwise be forced to drop employee heath coverage altogether.

Unfortunately, it appears as though the rampant fraud, back room manipulations and corruption which gave birth to ObamaCare are also present in the administration of waivers.

For example, businesses in Nancy Pelosi’s Congressional district have been granted an unusually high number of waivers.

And this from Nevada, in part, (see reference)where the entire state has been granted a partial exemption:

Nevada got a partial waiver from the health care law — a significant development that Democrats are dismissing as par for the course and Republicans are claiming as a political victory.

The Health and Human Services Department announced late Friday that Nevada had secured a statewide waiver from certain implementation requirements of the Obama administration’s health care law, because forcing them through, the department found, “may lead to the destabilization of the individual market.”

The announcement makes Nevada one of only three states to have compliance requirements under the health care bill waived.

For Republicans, the waiver is proof of what they’ve been arguing all along — that Obama’s health care law was never going to work and has to go.

“It is becoming increasingly clear how flawed this law really is,” Nevada Sen. Dean Heller said in a statement Monday. “Not only did it cut a half trillion dollars from Medicare, impacting thousands of Nevada’s seniors, now the law would have driven health insurers out of our state if a reprieve had not been granted.

“This is why ‘ObamaCare’ will not work for Nevada,” Heller said."

Given the already tarnished image of ObamaCare, it is essential that the following questions be asked by independent professionals:
　
•Are waivers granted based on logical rationale, or are political cronyism and favoritism used?

•Are powerful politicians like Pelosi and Harry Reid able to exert undue influence on the waiver-granting process?

•What checks and balances are in place to protect against corruption and fraud?

Perhaps the only way that Newt Gingrich could have muffed the roll-out of his presidential campaign with greater devastation would be by endorsing President Obama for reelection!

Some will argue that that is actually what the former Speaker of the U.S. accomplished with his cutting remarks which included an apparent endorsement of the mandates set forth in ObamaCare.

Referring to the Paul Ryan’s deficit cutting proposals as “right-wing social engineering” added to Newt’s desperate act of political suicide.

How in the world can a man of Gingrich’s alleged intelligence and vast experience in national Republican politics blunder so grievously?

Surely Newt must be aware of the fact that the Republican Party is in the majority in the U.S. House, with a good chance of winning majority status in the U.S. Senate after the 2012 elections, due in no small part to public outrage over the socialized entitlement called ObamaCare?

Those who genuinely care about our great nation, are justifiably outraged that the Mexican government blatantly refuses to respect American sovereignty and rule of law.

Mexican born musician Carlos Santana in Atlanta to receive an award prior to a Major League Baseball game said that Arizona and the city of Atlanta should be "ashamed" for passing immigration bills!

Santana who enjoys enormous fame and fortune due to America, is the one who should be "ashamed" that tens of millions of " his people" have invaded America!

For perspective, Santana would also do well to consider Mexican law and practices with respect to illegal aliens. He would (or should) be "ashamed" at how his beloved Mexico mistreats and abuses (including murder and rape)illegal aliens.

Santana should also hang his head in shame at the fact that Amnesty International has declared Mexico’s treatment of illegals as a “humanitarian crisis!”

Back here in America, illegal aliens are often defended as goodhearted, hardworking folks who come to America because they share our values.

Former President George W. Bush, by all accounts a good and decent man, refused to enforce immigration laws and secure the borders based on his personal belief that illegals migrate north because of a burning desire for the liberties and freedoms which accrue to those who live in our American Democracy.

However, President Bush never answered the following question: If illegal aliens love America and our values so much, why do they blatantly defy the rule of law, a basic foundation of our blessed Democracy?

In truth, illegals do not invade because they share common values or pine for the freedoms found in a robust Democracy.

Illegals come to take public services—education, health care, welfare, food stamps and the like--to which they are not entitled, and which cost U.S. taxpayers more than $100 billion of each year.

They come not to share in the “American Dream,” but to reclaim property which they naively believe to still be part of Mexico.

As everyone knows, the Mexican government bitterly opposes efforts to stem the flow of illegal aliens from Mexico into America. That government has even threatened to take the United States to the UN because a proposed fence at the at the border.

A fence that would be built by Americans on American soil using American money!

However, when it comes to illegal aliens going into Mexico from countries south of its border, the Mexican government has absolutely zero tolerance. No driver’s licenses, in-state tuition, or any of the other perks that American politicians bestow on Mexicans here illegally.

Fact is, illegal aliens in Mexico are regarded as felons by the government, treated accordingly, and are deported as quickly as possible.

America officials should do the same to the scores millions of aliens here illegally.

To claim that America is somehow “blessed” to have a third-world neighbor that does nothing as millions of its citizens are dumped on the backs of U.S. taxpayers is outrageous and irresponsible.

Geithner Plays "Double-Dip Recession" Card: Are Liberals Listening?

Treasury boss Tim Geithner left no doubt as to the devastation that would be visited on the U.S. economy should Congress fail to increase the debt ceiling.

His warning, designed to scare cantankerous Republicans into compliance with Obamanomics, was quoted, in part, at the reference:

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said if Congress fails to lift the debt ceiling and the U.S. defaults on its obligations “this abrupt contraction would likely push us into a double dip recession,” painting the most explicitly dire prediction to date of the consequences of inaction.

In a heavily-anticipated response to Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., who asked Geithner to document the economic and fiscal impacts of failing to lift the statutory debt limit, the Treasury secretary detailed a chain reaction that would cripple the economy, costing jobs and income.

A default would inflict catastrophic far-reaching damage on our nation’s economy, significantly reducing growth and increasing unemployment,” said Geithner in the letter to Bennet which was dated May 13. “Even a short-term default could cause irrevocable damage to the economy."

Geithner has imposed an August deadline for Congress to lift the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling, but lawmakers are still negotiating over Republican demands to tie the move to spending cuts. And a portion of the GOP still remains skeptical about the need to act by the deadline at all, arguing that the consequences have been overstated.”

With the stakes so very high, one would expect reasonable, intelligent Democrats(if any!) to join Republicans in cutting spending, thereby paving the way for a bipartisan solution that will preserve the credit worthiness of our nation and avert the Armageddon-like scenario envisioned by Geithner.

Besides the alarm sounded by Geithner, the forecast for America’s fiscal health was recently downgraded from “stable” to “negative” by Standard and Poors; again, based on the urgent need to address out-of-control spending.

The big question of the day: Will Democrats “step up” to the plate and act responsibly to reign in spending? Or will they ignore the risk of a double-dip recession and irrevocable damage to the economy by refusing to face reality?

Which will it be, Democrats?

Patriotic, law-abiding American citizens have been shocked and dismayed by President Obama’s consistent refusal to secure U.S. borders with Mexico and by his complete disregard for the rule of law in dealing with tens of millions of illegal aliens squatting here unlawfully.

Time and again, Obama has favored illegal aliens over American citizens, as was the case with the treasonous federal lawsuit against Arizona for defending its citizenry from foreign invaders.

Obama aggravated this assault with an equally toxic report to the UN which listed Arizona’s SB 1070 as an example of human rights violations.

An American president wages war against a sovereign state of the Republic for that state’s efforts to enforce the rule of law? In order to protect foreign invaders?

What could possibly be going through Obama’s mind in executing such an extreme anti-American Jihad?

A possible insight emerges from a recent interview of Obama’s illegal alien aunt, Zeituni Onyango, with WBZ-TV in Boston:

"If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen." Those are the words from 58-year-old Zeituni Onyango of Kenya in a recent exclusive interview with WBZ-TV.”

In other words, according to Obama relative Aunt Zeituni, America’s borders and laws are meaningless.

The needs and wishes of American citizens are irrelevant when compared to the "obligation" to grant citizenship to all who come--even if they are here illegally!

That sort of mangled logic, issued to mask criminality and barbaric selfishness, seems a fair recital of Obama’s own immigration policy.

In addition, Obama’s wrong-minded, UN-American stance on illegals was exposed even further in a pathetic pandering to the Hispanic Congressional Caucus in which Obama essentially justified illegal invasions with these words:

As backasswards as it seems, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is orchestrating an effort to punish American businesses for making profits, while rewarding invading criminals for ignoring the U.S.-Mexico border and our immigration laws.

It’s more of the anti-business, pro-illegal alien lunacy championed by Barack Obama and his clueless gaggle of warped leftists, obviously unrepentant even after the great shellacking of November, 2010.

Ever mindful of the fact that there are a hell of a lot more illegal aliens (and potential votes) than there are oil executives, Democrats hauled big-oil executives to the Capitol to answer for the skyrocketing price of gasoline, now approaching $5 a gallon.

Had the senators been at all serious in their inquiry, they would have called call Barack Obama on the carpet for his refusal to facilitate increased supply through drilling.

But, of course, Democrats are not really concerned about prices at the pump, especially after Obama personally covered their back by warning the public to "get used to it," it being Obama’s sinister goal of driving millions of Americans from their cars rather than actually working to achieve energy independence.

Thus, the meeting with five oil executives in the Senate to discuss the "Close Big Oil Tax Loopholes Act," the bill that would eliminate tax subsidies for just the five largest oil companies and direct those savings to pay down the deficit.

Total deficit reduction: $21 billion over 10 years.

While some Democrats were proposing to plunder and pillage the very institutions that create jobs and prosperity and already pay exorbitant taxes, other moon bat Democrats in the Senate were trying to revive the Dream Act, a give-away of American treasure to those here illegally, to whom the American people owe absolutely nothing, and whom should be deported back to their third-world nations of origin.

Billions for illegal aliens for goodness sake!

How in the hell does it make any sense, morally or financially, to reward non-citizen invaders while assaulting American businesses that provide this nation’s energy and jobs for the economy?

As to that $21 billion in deficit reduction over ten years, how about going after that $110 billion a year spent by taxpayers to support and sustain millions of illegal aliens?

In addition, illegal aliens do not pay taxes (in many cases) and do not hire employees.

Come on, Harry Reid! Get off the backs of American citizens and focus instead on deporting illegal aliens who are such a huge drain on public coffers.
　
　

Leading from Behind--Except When It Comes to Victory Laps!

In order to create a positive spin on President Obama’s dithering, tardiness, and general incompetence in dealing with the crisis in Libya, the Left once again raided the nation’s Fairy Dust Makeover reserve in the basement of the White House.

The objective was to float the notion that because of Obama’s exceptional intelligence and moral character, he prefers to “Lead from behind,” and, because he is soooooo special, deserves to exercise that prerogative with impunity.

According to this rebooting, intellectuals of genius caliber, such as Obama, are far more comfortable in leading conflicts from the back seats of power, away from the glitter and glow so brazenly exploited by less sophisticated, less-spiritually attuned cowboys from, say, the old South.

Especially those from old-school states like Texas, just to mention a state at random.

Thus, emerged the image of Barack Obama, the new-age president-warrior who would be above the fray and frill while Leading from Behind.

There would be no silly, “Let’s roll!” “Bring Them On!” or “Mission Accomplished!” incantations falling from the lips of this erudite Harvard grad.

To hell with simplistic, testosterone-blasted excesses!

Besides being a kinder, gentler way of killing people, Leading from Behind has other distinct advantages:

1. Plausible deniability is maintained for the president, just in case the war does not go well, an almost-inevitable result when Barack Obama is intimately involved, and

2. It leaves one in the best position from which to retreat, a vital mainstay in the military strategy of any truly progressive president!

As events have unfolded in Libya, it appears as though Obama’s LFB strategy has produced predictable results:

The war is in stalemate with no end in site, but Obama is not being held responsible for anything!

Cool, huh, Mr. President?

As so often happens with the precocious and gifted, Obama seems to have lost his focus in applying Leading from Behind Fairy Dust to other affairs of state.

Most notably, one immediately thinks of the Osama bin Laden great kill of May 1.

In the OBL kill, President Obama was anything but a shrinking violet. According to his own words, when it came to executing an unarmed terrorist during an illegal raid of a sovereign, foreign nation, Barack Obama was THE MAN, in every respect.

It was President Obama who planned the daring raid in every minute detail.

It was President Obama who selected the specific NAVY SEALS to carry out the mission.

It was President Obama who decisively gave the KILL order—and who required only sixteen hours of deliberation to overcome his liberal queasiness to do the right thing for America.

It was President Obama who ordered a sea burial for the abused remains of the OBL personage, in accordance with Muslim religious rituals, of course.

In fact, with the exception of actually pulling the trigger of the murder weapon, Obama seems to have done it all!

Still, this president was not satisfied upon fulfilling his role as Executioner-in-Chief.

Indeed, at great personal sacrifice and risk, Barack Obama took the OBL success story on the road to share his heroic and historic kill with the American people and with freedom loving people all across the globe.

From Ground Zero came the eloquent, but modest, declaration from America’s 44th president, paraphrased as follows: “The death of Osama bin Laden is living proof that when Americans put their minds to it, I can accomplish anything!”

And so it is in the quiet, unassuming world of Leading from Behind.

Caution Illegal Aliens: Do Not Sup Obama Kool-Aid

Although it is normally below my pay grade and moral inclination to give aid and comfort to invading criminals (the non-PC, factually-correct term for illegal aliens), President Obama’s dastardly display of deceit and disrespect at the border in El Paso was so fraught with fraud and abuse that one MUST shout out

Note please that this gift is NOT available in Spanish, so perhaps most illegals will never even know that it exists.

On to the subject at hand.

Despite Obama’s clever jokes around about moats and alligators and the tough talk to jolt Republicans out of their racist ivory towers, comprehensive immigration reform, at least the version favored by the President and most Democrats, ain’t gonna happen anytime soon!

Do not--repeat, do NOT—bet your farm on being legalalized anytime soon, despite the glowing words from Obama.

Remember, this is the same guy who promised “reform” as part of his election campaign nearly three years ago!

And what has he accomplished so far? Like, nada. Nothing, El zero.

You see, amigos, here in America, the President is just one piece of the government. In order for dramatic change to occur, the United States Congress must agree with the president.

To date, Congress has been unwilling to allow foreign invaders (y’all!) to cut in line ahead of millions of other people around the world waiting to come here.

It’s called basic fairness and rule of law, two concepts which President Obama rarely mentions and never favors.

Most of the opposition to amnesty for invading criminals comes from Republicans who believe that a nation of laws should abide by those laws. Most American citizens agree.

What you need to know is that last November, the American people voted in important elections from coast-to-coast. Those elections resulted in a massive rejection of President Obama’s policies and the election of more than 65 new Republicans to Congress.

Our new Congress is vastly different than it was before November 2, 2010. Now Republicans are in control of the U.S. House and have more power in the U.S. Senate.

All of which means that President Obama has treated you like loco hombres with his silly talk. In truth, immigration reform is a dead issue for the foreseeable future.

Obama’s musing about moats and alligators was nothing more than a cruel tease, or as the politicians say, an attempt to “rouse the base.”

Although Obama’s proposed amnesty, including a path to citizenship for invaders, is made of whole fairy dust, you will be pleased to learn that there is already a PATH TO CITIZENSHIP available to those willing to follow the rules and wait their turn.

Simply apply for citizenship at any official U.S. Immigration Services Office.

Tell them Obama sent you, and Fair and balanced treatment is guaranteed!

One final point about this president: In June of 2008, while running for election, Obama chided Americans who complain that new- comers do not learn English.

Obama’s response was “Americans need to learn Spanish!”

That was nearly three years ago. How do you suppose the President’s Spanish is progressing? Is he now a bilingual liar?

Desperate for Sizzle, Obama Plays “Moats and Alligators” Card!

With the sizzle from his great kill of May 1 fading quicker than the value of the U.S. dollar, Barack Obama dug deep and deeper into his bag of tricks and chicanery in pursuit of a political ploy to salvage his failed presidency.

However, rather than offering new and creative distortions with which to dazzle the unwashed masses, the President has resorted to a rehashing of the same old foolishness about immigration reform, or as those who respect the proper use of the English language call it, “Unwarranted amnesty for invading criminals.”

As reported, in part, at the reference, Obama used some colorful, and odd, language in an attempt to ridicule those with the temerity to disagree with his views on the divisive issue:

“EL PASO, Texas – Delving into an explosive issue, President Barack Obama stood near the border with Mexico on Tuesday and declared it more secure than ever, trying to build pressure on Republicans to take on a comprehensive immigration overhaul — and eagerly working to show vital Hispanic voters that he is not the one standing in the way.

Countering Republican calls to focus on border security before moving to a comprehensive overhaul, Obama said their demands have been more than met by his administration but "they'll never be satisfied."

"We have gone above and beyond what was requested by the very Republicans who said they supported broader reform as long as we got serious about enforcement," Obama said.

"But even though we've answered these concerns, I gotta say I suspect there are still going to be some who are trying to move the goal posts on us one more time."

"Maybe they'll need a moat," he said mockingly to laughter from the crowd. "Maybe they'll want alligators in the moat."

Actually, Mr. President, Republicans and the majority of Americans are not the least bit interested in moats nor alligators.

However, we are passionate in demanding that you and your administration enforce immigration laws now on the books and take border security seriously.

That translates to abiding by the U.S. Constitution, which you swore to uphold on that dreadful January afternoon in 2009 when your current, and hopefully only, term started.

It means abandoning your deceitful and wicked plans to grow the Democrat Party on the backs of illegal aliens in defiance of American citizens.

It means respecting U.S. citizenship as the treasure that it is rather than as a trading chip for future votes.

It means respect for the language and culture of the millions of American citizens who founded this great Democracy.

It means respect for the 16 million or so Americans who are still unemployed, more than two years after your failed stimulus bill was enacted.

It means respect for the scores of millions of people around the world anxious to migrate to America who are told to “get in line and wait your turn.”

Above all else, it means respect for the rule of law and common decency.

Moats and alligators? Don’t need them, Mr. President!

Instead, Just give rule of law a chance!

America Don't Need No Stinkin' Reform!

With all due respect to President Barack Obama and his Mexican underwriters, America does NOT need immigration reform, comprehensive or otherwise.

What this nation desperately needs is a President and Congress that will apply due diligence on behalf of America, rather than working solely for huge U.S. corporations, illegal aliens, and the Mexican government.

In other words, Mr. Obama, you can solve the immigration nightmare overnight by simply living up to your constitutional responsibility to defend America “against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Or to put it more succinctly, Mr. President, secure our borders and enforce existing immigration laws, including deportation of the invading criminals now here!

Period!

Forget about “comprehensive” reform, which is nothing more than double-talk for amnesty.

The president is reportedly a student of history. Perhaps he would benefit by boning up on recent immigration history.

Namely:

In 1986, the United States adopted the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) (Simpson-Mazzoli Act, IRCA, and Pub. L. 99-603, Nov. 6, 1986, 100 Stat. 3359). Go here:

IRCA was enacted to reduce illegal immigration, which was a problem for the American economy. Three million illegal aliens were granted amnesty as a result of IRCA.

The new law would have worked--if it had been enforced. Unfortunately, both Democrat and Republican administrations have failed (refused?) to enforce the IRCA.

As a result, twenty years later America is saddled with upwards of an additional 20 million illegal aliens.

Most distressing is the fact that the “surge” from south of the border continues unabated, in spite of 9/11 and the threat posed by terrorists.

Apparently the president would have the American people believe that securing the borders 10,000 miles from home is vital to U.S. homeland security, but that securing our own borders is not vital.

And how can that be, Mr. President?

Is it because, in your mind, illegal aliens are “good hearted, hard working folks” simply looking for a better life? AND because of their poverty and need, perfect future Democrats?

DOES AMERICA REALLY NEED ANOTHER 20 MILLION UNEDUCATED, IMPOVERISHED, NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING ADDICTS TO government entitelments?

And will another amnesty simply urge scores of millions of third-world people still in Mexico and other Latin nations, to invade America as well?

All are good hearted and hard working? Without a single Jihadist, or potential terrorist, in their midst?

The 1986-amnesty disaster proves that America needs secured borders and rigid enforcement of our laws.

Or, to put the issue in terms even most illegal aliens could understand:

America don’t need no stinkin’ immigration reform!

An Inconvenient Truth: Bin Laden Is Dead Because of G.W. Bush!

When the Official Death Certificate for Osama bin Laden is prepared, under “Cause of Death” the following words should be inserted:

Succumbed to anti-terrorism policies, including “enhanced interrogation techniques,” approved by President George W. Bush.

As unseemly and grotesque as Barack Obama’s self-congratulatory theatrics have been, the man’s adamant refusal to admit that W.’s policies ultimately nailed bin Laden is even more despicable and disgusting.

The fact is that Barack Obama contributed nothing original to the project. From this president came no new ideas or inspiration, nothing that would hasten bin Laden’s long-overdue departure.

Obama’s greatest challenge was to simply stay out of the way and not botch the project, especially given the excellent anti-terrorism strategies and systems established by W.

The inconvenient truth is that if Obama had been president at the time of 9/11 and immediately thereafter, thugs like KSM would have been tried in civilian courts, probably acquitted and released to plot even more 9/11 attacks.

Intelligence of the sort that led to Obama’s demise in Abbottabad are directly and completely attributable to President George W. Bush, regardless of how inconvenient that fact is to Obama and the Left.

More Offensive: Confederate Flag or Illegals Flying Mexican Flag?

One of the most disconcerting aspects of liberal bigots is their insatiable appetite for tearing down anything American in order to build up anti-American sentiment and people.

The issue over the Confederate Flag is an excellent example.

Most liberals have nothing but contempt for one the most lasting and cherished symbols of the South; preferring to label those who revere the Confederate Flag as red-necked racists and hate mongers.

To most liberals, diversity is a terrific concept, except when it spawns tolerance for ideas and practices that the left opposes.

Long live liberal fascists?

Amazingly enough, those same self-righteous liberals who are so anxious to disembowel American citizens for flying the Confederate Flag will defend millions of illegal aliens who take over our streets while boasting the Mexican flag!

If ever there was a flag that should be banned in America, it is the flag of Mexico, our third-world neighbors who dump their illiterate peasants on the US side of the border for US taxpayers to feed, house, educate, and provide medical care for.

Bottom Line: Give me a redneck with a Confederate Flag any day over a brown-necked illegal alien with a Mexican flag!

Next for Obama? Four More Years, or Trial in Nuremberg?

As President Obama continues to “spike the football,” while pretending not to, in celebration of his “great kill” of Osama bin Laden, speculation about the president’s future is all over the map.

Some, like Barbara Walters for example, believe that Obama’s miraculous makeover from recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize to a potential war crimes defendant makes the president virtually unbeatable in 2012.

Walters has even suggested that the 2012 should be cancelled, given Obama’s lock on reelection.

And why not?

So what if the economy remains stuck on dormant and seemingly headed for a double-dip recession?

So what if unemployment is still at 9 percent more than two years after Obama’s trillion-dollar stimulus fiasco was enacted?

So what if the national debt is at $14.3 trillion, which caused Standard and Poors to downgrade the outlook for the U.S. to negative?

So what if millions of home foreclosures and personal bankruptcies continue to ruin lives from coast-to-coast?

So what if gasoline is headed to $5 or more per gallon along with runaway inflation in food and other essentials?
So what if this president has led America into a third war on Muslim soil?

So what if the president’s vaunted health care reform bill has been ruled unconstitutional in two separate decisions and appears headed for the scrap bin?

So what if 70 percent of Americans believe that the nation is headed in the wrong direction?

None of that matters because Barack Obama utilized the intelligence apparatus, including “harsh interrogation techniques” bequeathed to him by George W. Bush to connect all the dots and take out the evil Osama bin Laden.

Before May 2, the greatest accomplishment on Obama’s watch was receipt of the Nobel Peace prize for 14 whole days of faithful service in the Oval Office. Since then, Obama has increased the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, fired more than 100 Cruise missiles into Libya, and orchestrated the execution of an unarmed terrorist!

Amazingly enough, the leftist media and Democratic stalwarts have praised Obama for his decision to send Navy SEALS into Abbotabad, Pakistan rather than using drone predators. For this, Obama received lavish praise for his courage and willingness to take risk.

Courage?

Good heavens, how much courage does it take to send Navy SEALS into combat while the president sits in front of a TV monitor 10,000 away from the action?

The only real courage, of course, was displayed by the Navy SEALS who risked their very lives to get Obama the DNA evidence needed to convince a skeptical world that OBL is truly history.

Given the fact that many conflicting versions of the raid surfaced right after the terrorist was declared dead and have yet to be satisfactorily resolved, it appears as though Obama may yet be forced to answer some tough questions about the legality of his great kill.

Which again fosters the burning question: Next for Obama? Four More Years, or Trial in Nuremberg?

Whom Will Obama Blame If Al-Queada Strikes?

Although President Obama was quick to claim personal credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden, how will the president react if, God forbid, Al-Quaeda succeeds in executing a major retaliatory terrorist attack against America?

Will the president accept full responsibility for the rage among bin Laden’s followers after the assassination?

Will Obama admit that his decision and the attendant publicity made Osama bin Laden a martyr for scores of millions of malcontent Muslims?

Will Obama eventually pay tribute to the Bush policies, including “harsh interrogation techniques,” which made the bin Laden killing possible?

Or will the president, as he has done with respect to the economy, unemployment, the federal deficit, and other issues with which America struggles, completely disavow personal responsibility by claiming that the bin Laden issue was “inherited” from George W. Bush?

Should Obama attempt the latter, will the American people allow him to do so with political impunity?

In America, Today Is May 5. Period.

When and how did so many otherwise level headed Americans become obsessed with celebrating a foreign holiday here in God's country?

I refer, of course, to the madness concerning the 5th of May which has been transformed into a national day of drunkenness, civil disobedience, and irreverence, all in the name of celebrating Mexico, a failed, third world, foreign culture!

Why do we bother with Cinco de Mayo when there are no are no similar days set aside to celebrate the cultures of Poland, or Afghanistan, or Japan?

In fact, there are innumerable nations that are more worthy of celebrating than the dismal place known as Mexico.

The rejoinder, of course, is that we need to break out in protest marches and terminal alcohol poisoning in order to honor the large Mexican population here in America.

To which the logical rejoinder is: A huge percentage, and perhaps a majority, of the Mexicans in America are here illegally! Do not belong here, have no right to be here!

What America really needs is a new "Invasion Free" day," to augment, but not replace, July 4.

Our new Invasion Free day can be established and celebrated once goof balls in Congress and the White House act to enforce our existing immigration laws by issuing a carte blanche deportation order that directs all local, state, and federal agencies to join in a cooperative effort to root out and kick out the 38 million or so illegal vermin currently plaguing America.

An "Invasion Free" day is what America really needs, instead of some foreign Cinco de Whatever nonsense!

Joe Biden Steps In It--Again!

Once again, Americans are reminded that Vice-President Joe Biden is an incredibly dangerous man of little talent and even less common sense.

Biden’s latest encounter with “foot-in-mouth” disease, in which the disease again prevailed, involves Biden’s disclosure of the fact that Navy SEALS executed the successful kill mission that ended Osama bin Laden’s notorious career.

As reported at the reference, in part, that information was supposed to be held in confidence for obvious security reasons:

“Since President Barack Obama announced that “a small team of Americans” had killed Osama bin Laden, US government officials have carefully stuck to the line that they will not talk about which units were involved.

“Obama did not say it was the SEALs. In numerous television appearances, Obama’s counter-terrorism chief John Brennan didn’t and his deputy national security adviser Denis McDonough didn’t. Despite the numerous news reports that named the SEALs, none of the anonymous briefers from the CIA and Pentagon would confirm it.

Here’s a typical response to a question about the SEALs from a senior defense official in a Pentagon briefing on Monday:

QUESTION: Can I ask you, can you confirm that it was a (Navy) SEAL team? And was this a specially designated team that had been practising or reviewing intelligence for a while and they were the unit of choice?

SENIOR DEFENSE OFFICIAL: Not going to comment on units or numbers.

But here’s what the legendarily verbose and loose-lipped Vice President Joe Biden said at a dinner at Washington’s Ritz Carlton Hotel last night to mark the 50th anniversary of the Atlantic Council:

Let me briefly acknowledge tonight’s distinguished honorees. Admiral James Stavridis is a, is the real deal. He can tell you more about and understands the incredible, the phenomenal, the just almost unbelievable capacity of his Navy SEALs and what they did last Sunday.

And:
Folks, I’d be remiss also if I didn’t say an extra word about the incredible events, extraordinary events of this past Sunday. As Vice President of the United States, as an American, I was in absolute awe of the capacity and dedication of the entire team, both the intelligence community, the CIA, the SEALs. It just was extraordinary.

Given Biden’s goofy performance, it is laughable that anyone would fear that a Vice President Sarah Palin would in any way diminish the IQ pool in Washington!

In fact, compared with Biden, Sarah Palin would bring a much needed upgrade to the intellectual prowess of the Veep’s office.
